I went throw the "how do I preservice my wash n go" phase the whole month of January and idk why nothing was working. I used to be able to wear it in a bun or do the banding method, wake up and shake my hair an be out the door but last month that stopped working and would just wear my hair in a low ponytail everyday. What works now is i s sleep with a loose low pony tail and in the morning i spray my hair with a water/conditioner mix and stretcher with my blow dryer in the morning. Never had to do that before, but i think (for me) my hair goes through phases, and when i constantly do the same thing my hair tells me to switch it up. lol

I’ve tried oil detangling. It does not work for me. It causes build up on my hair cannot absorb water after. It actually makes detangling even more challenging. 🙅🏾♀️
Your curls are beautiful! 🤩 Have you considered using a satin lined tube instead of a bonnet? I’ve gotten away from most bonnets because of how they shape my hair. I wear loc style bonnets plus now I just mostly wear twists. Leaving my hair loose is too much work. 😆
Normally, I put the Dyson on my hair rather than air drying and my hair would dry faster and last for days. Yesterday, I washed my hair and let it air dry & it makes a huge difference. I woke up this morning and my hair was just so….. idk.. It’s not perfoming like it does when I dry it with the dryer
The realness of wash day👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I recently considered why I had yet to see a natural do a wash day and talk about how exhausting it is! Exhausted and freezing after the water got cold from wash, condish and deep condition taking all the water. Not to mention time spent pre-pooing or oil treatments. Then the detangling....lawd! We have the same texture (even those roots gurl 😂) and length but my hair is also fine but dense and low porosity. A good wash day for me is 4hrs! Sometimes known to be 6hrs😩 THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR BEING HONEST!!
I’ve never cut my hair in a shape as well. Once I reach my desired length I will, however, I do try to keep up with dusting my ends regularly. I love your videos. Keep them coming! 💕
