Hi Nick, yes we used the tradewind sail between 10 and 18 knots and very easy to use and effective. Just furl her in or out. A lot of the time we put the main away and just used the tradewind sail. We liked it a lot. Cheers Andrew
Thanks. That’s very helpful. There isn’t that much room in the sail locker so it’s good to know what worked. It looks like you went with a standard jib rather than yankee too. Is that right?
Tradewindwind sail - we had a J2 kite in sock and never used it but that's because we were dead down wind most of the time and I think because the tradewind was so easy to use
@@emmakimble8946 The small bit we sailed was magical - highly recommend the experience and the other Oysters on the world Rally were enjoying every mintue too - good luck in your adventure

Hi John - yes a super yacht - we were part of a crew to take her across the Pacific -
I really enjoyed your video. I’m doing that trip in ‘24 and am curious about the Tradewind sail. Was it worth adding to the inventory?

What kind of fish did you catch? (the big one)
The fish was a Wahoo - took a while to land 😁😁

She is 65 ft Wypke
Do u hire the yacht or do u own it?
Hi Emma we helped sail the yacht across the Pacific and were not the owners 😂😂

how long do they let you stay in Marqueses ?
We stayed for 10 days and some yachts visited the other islands close by - when you check in Marquesas it covers all French Polynesia
