I am currently renting a CX-9 this week while I am relocating to another state. The gas mileage is average but the performance is top notch with plenty of legroom and cargo space.

Test drove the CX9 Touring, car is deceptively quick, but interior space feels very tight bit of a disappointment for me.

Very nice, indeed, Dave. I'm wondering if ventilated seats come with the Signature trim level. If not, that would be a deal-breaker for me.

yes. the lower model grand touring even has cooled seats.

Do you feel vibration on gas paddle while driving this car? I have Mazda CX-9 2020 and I feel vibration on gas paddle and floor. Which is more prominent on idle. I took the car to service Center and they said it’s normal and characteristic of this car. I am not happy driving this car.

Hey I watched your video on the Kia Telluride as well. I would really appreciate your opinion on which one youd prefer yourself? Stuck between the telluride and the cx9

I was going to get rx 350 but I looked into fuelly and don't like mpg of rx. . Cx9 mazda a little better mpg and also cheaper and also reliable from what I have read. What is the difference between 2018,19 and 2021 cx9? Looking to buy used one. Will this suv be too big for 2 adults and a 90lbs dog? Dont need the 3rd row, so I feel we will be paying for 3rd row when we don't need it... drove the cx5 but did not like it much, too small in my opinion. Your advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank u.
Also looking at venza. We are looking for an suv pretty much.

Just bought a 2019 touring and it’s a sweet SUV. It doesn’t drive like a big vehicle and I think would be a great fit for 2 adults and a large dog. We bought it because of the premium feel and amazing driving dynamics. The turbo 4 in it is plenty of engine for the car. I would highly recommend. We found it as a CPO with 14k miles for $15k off original asking price. Luckily Mazda’s aren’t very well known and prices really aren’t too bad for what you get. I am really blown away with the vehicle and it now comes with standard AWD

@@futbol1972 we looked at the Highlander and the Pilot as well but to get the features that we got in our CX-9 Touring it would have cost probably $4-8k more in price. Also, the material used in the CX-9 felt a lot more upscale than the Toyota or Honda. just my 2 cents

I would strongly recommend not buying a Mazda. We purchased a brand new 2016 Mazda CX9 and within 2 years had problems with a rough idle. Was told after second year it just needed new spark plugs. Dealer could never recreate rough idle. 4 years later we took it in for an oil change and was told the cylinder head was leaking coolant.....Cylinder heads on back order for two months due to known problem of leaking. the only solution was either a refurbished engine or New engine from dealer. Warranty just expired but dealer and Mazda just say “sorry either return your loaner car or replace the engine at your cost” Horrible experience......$4600.00 lesson learned. Please do yourself a favor and do not purchase a $40,000 car from Mazda only to have to purchase a $4600.00 engine in less than 4 years and trade in value now only $14,000 after new engine. NEVER again!

Car had issues but you A) kept it passed it warrenty and B) didn't extend the warrenty after dealing with issues just 2 years after purchase.
Mazda is one of the more reliable car brands out there, might not say much but they're better than most. Much more reliable than just about anything European or American.

My 2012 GT cx9 AWD has 176,000 miles. Other than tuneups, engine remains strong. Mpg is just 12 mpg. Power roof, front seat inop. AC leaks water, just replaced blower fan $300, driver side window motor, $600. Sway bar and stabilizer broken, park break broken, latch to lift gate lock broken, leather no tears, arm rest broken, rides like a truck, Bose sound and speakers perfect. How much if I sold it as is?

Total breakdown with a pic in the middle of a field? Lol..admit it got me and i have zero interest in an SUV...unless someone wants to give me a free Porsche Macan GTS, Lambo Urus, Alfra Romeo Stelvio Quarofoglio etc..
