I Don't know why everyone knocks on this game and gives this game so much hate I really enjoyed this game and is one of my favorites you just have to learn how to adapt and get used to new characters.
I like it when they do new generation games too but problem is half of the new characters in the game just seem like really one note knock offs of the old ones
your argument is invalid when even the developers aknowledged the game being butchered due to crunching and rushing development under very short deadlines. the story mode is a joke, very few fighting modes, unappealing new characters replacing old classic belobed ones

Soulcalibur 5 has good stage variety. And really cool unlockable characters. The combat is nice and fast (it's the groundwork for 6 and you can really tell.) I think that some character designs even trump that of 6.
@@spacewargamer4181 ok. Well you can get elysium, edge master, alpha patrokolos and pyrrha omega all from completing the main story. You can unlock kilik by beating the Asia arcade route on any difficulty (he is incredibly difficult nonetheless.) Algol is unlocked by (and take notes here) >reaching level 17 (that's when I unlicked him) >going to quick battle >adjusting the fight preferences to Europe, intermediate >getting a 3 win streak (cant fight him with any more or less.) >finding the character named "termanos" >beating him. Alternatively if you do find any of the other characters you can unlock in quick battle you can unlock them by beating them there.
Don't add over graphics.. in soul series... Create like natural fights.. like your first soul blade.. where is rock.. in first series fights and dressings places very natural.. continue like it.. don't add over graphics like takken series.. pls

Fan favorites and icons of Soulcalibur return to 6 to make a very good roster, meanwhile 5 lacked many characters that even made it Soulcalibur and the two main characters to come from Sophitia are horribly written which is a waste of the actual design of the characters, it's not an entirely bad roster but it's not beating 6.

But all of them are in VI. You should try this game.
Sophitia, Cassandra, Seong Mi-Na are probably dead in 5.
