How to find the boaboa
Talk to the Lynian since they usually ask for help in searching the other Grimals, gajas, etc, then you'd have your palico talk to one of the grimal, gajas, etc member that needs help searching their other tribe members thats scattered in the map. They have a green marker on the map and you have to approach them gently so you can capture them without scaring them off.

For anyone who may find that they’re not being given the Boaboa quest even after they befriend all the other tribes, make sure you’ve spoken to your palico so there isn’t a yellow exclamation mark over its head anymore :)

Arekz is so-so... slow and not up to date info. Plus sometimes he even not verify the info and just give false info to people. I always wil prefer Gaijin or other youtubers who focused on one game then many.

The boaboa walk in single files to hide their numbers.
That sounds just like something that they would do haha
Remember to talk to your palico to learn all the riding things from him, or else you won't unlock the gajalaka and boaboa quests.
I hate to be that guy, buuuut Gajalaka aren't cats.
They are Lynian however. Which just means they are natives.
The Gajalaka are kind of like goblins with masks and the Boaboa are probably very similar.
You know what, I totally forgot about Cha-Cha and Kayamba! This actually reminded me of them.
Or like the nut people from previous mh Titels. Like tri You had a little nut man follow you around.
The Boaboa are actually sorta like mini yetis instead of goblins like the Gajalaka and Shakalaka, you can see one of them without armor in the hot spring sometimes.
Fun fact:You can find a giant beotodus skull inside their village,the skull is about the size of safi'jiiva's head,thats one big fish.

@@beasthaven1571 As long as you befriended all the other tribes, you can start it pretty early in Iceborne.
It comes up after you talk with your peloco did for me cause he tells you he's learned there language

I've got all the tools and I am still unable to get the quest to activate. EDIT: Make sure when you spawn into expedition, the Lynian Researcher is there.

Do you have to do all these things in specific rank? (I mean Lowrank, Highrank, Master) or can i just choose one. Haven‘t unlocked anything for the cats yet
Is there a way to enter their camp after you've done all this? I'm not very far into iceborn but I've done all this and the hotspring area doesn't have any flying lizards to latch onto anymore or anything I can see to enter their camp to recruit them for future hunts.

Oh my god i have to fucking spend hours on finding doodles and befriending the cats just to unlock an optional quest... this is ridiculous. Hours of grinding just because i have to be a damn completionist. Sometimes i really hate this game

Only in iceborne
You can use it in World as well. I was playing with some folks who didn't have Iceborne (they were at Master Rank 0) and it looks like they were able to use the new moves too.

@@tugaygocer2481 Is your game updated? I could've sworn I saw a livestream where the devs said that the updates would apply to World, as well.
I think the devs meant if you have Iceborne, but have not started the expansion and are still doing old missions, you can use the new moves still without being in the new areas.
Thanks alot I was looking for some info about the BOA BOA. I was wondering if you knew what the Boa Boa Spear unlock at level 3 unity does? I wonder if it is a decoration. since I thought it was equipment for my palico.

I've befriended all the grimalkynes and the gajalakas, I have all the palico gadgets, and the Lynian researcher will not give the quest. I've talked to him in seliana, and i've seen him in the expedition but he won't say the Boaboa are watching my prowess. Do I need to progress further into Iceborne or is my game bugged?
How far are you in the game? I think you might need to get to a certain point first (don't think it's too far though)
After I got the cocktail I went to speak with him and it still says I don’t have a unity with the gajalaka. Any help?
Once you get all the grimalkyne gadgets, the Lynian Researcher In Seliana will ask you to do a Gajalaka linguistics bounty. Once you do that do what the video shows you.
I've done all the mhw tribes except the elders recess tribe, the Lynian researcher isn't in Astera to get the quest. Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure you also have to befriend the green Gajalaka Tribe, which is in the Elders Recess.
Does doing the Baboa tribe unlock the Tailrider on new area? I hate not having a monster to take me to my objective as I fix my weapon sharpness
Yup! You can ride to your heart's content in all the maps.

Okay I did the quest to attack boaboa but I have the icon of the rider but I can’t use it so do I have to befriend them first?
There will be cases when you can't use Tailriders. Like when you're in a quest that has a scene that needs to trigger first etc. There are areas where they won't work as well. What mission are you trying to use it on?
tabiasobi I was just trying to use it in general but when I hit lvl 8 it started working but I can only use it on one map

The Black Baron We don't know if they are cats tho,not every lynian looks like a cat,the gajalaka for example look like mini red goblins acording to concept art.
@@gladiusbladeofthenorth9939 you can occasionally see them without armor in their hideout. They look like baby yetis. Their face is the same with or without the mask, though you can see their mouth without the mask.
