Andre does this smoother than anyone else I've seen. Smoothing out that extra wrap after dismounting from double or nothing is proving challenging. Can't tell you how many times I've whacked my elbow 😂
It takes a lot of practice! 😅 - Break it down into steps, and for that part specifically it helps if you raise your elbow throw hand to prevent it from whacking your elbow hehe - Hope that helps! :) -Eric

Is there a way of practicing all these without the yoyo spinning? I need to practice just the string motion and how to wrap the string around my fingers (if you know what I mean)
Not really unfortunately. If the yo-yo isn't spinning at the end of the string it will just rotate as you swing it and you won't be able to land it on the string.
The smoothness and flow just comes from doing it over and over until it is muscle memory. First work on your double-or-nothing until you can do it in your sleep. Once you have that, skip the flips and go right to the part where you kick the yoyo out to your right and bring it back in to re-land in the double or nothing. This is a repeatable trick so you can keep doing it over and over until your yoyo runs out of spin. Once you have that down, then just add in the flips in the middle and you have it!
Can you calrify something for me? When you show the "extra roll" slowly you physically move your TH and wrap the string around your NT hand. But when you do it quickly, your TH never comes close to wrapping the string around your TH. How does that work?
When Andre is first demonstrating the trick he was actually doing a ‘streamlined’ version of it fast - grabbing the string with his pointer finger on his non throw hand to create the wrap (rather then creating the actual wrap using his throw hand). When learning how to do the Matrix it is much easier to learn by physically wrapping the string around your finger with your throw hand. It is not covered in the video but as you get more comfortable with the trick you may be able to learn how to just grab the string with your pointer finger of your non throw hand to create the extra loop. If you slow the video down during his first demonstration you can see how his finger just hooks the string then straightens out for the extra loop.

Is the initiator same as magic 7 but magic 7 only lights. And is the oracle yoyo same as loop 360. 3.can you tell me all the things that make a good 2A yoyo. 4. Were does the 2A players get the nylon yoyo sleeves or nylon yoyo sleeves for the legs. 5. For 2A i know loop 1080 is the best yoyo. but what is the best 2A yoyo (That no one has for a signature yoyo.) 6. Were does the 2A players get the nylon yoyo sleeves or nylon yoyo sleeves for the legs. 7. You said cut the string to the exact length but if i cut it to that exact length i will have to make the knot for my finger and if i do that the string get shorter and then it won't be the exact length what do i do? I don't know why they don't do this slow the thing down to 25 on your computer it looks like a gear and you can actually slow this video down to 25 he sounds funny but you can follow every move he makes otherwise it's too hard to follow unless you you slow it down hopes this help somebody it's right next to the caption looks like a little gear

Andre is using the Dark Magic II with an unresponsive bearing installed for this trick.
But you can use either, as no part of this trick will cause a responsive to return (this trick was created before unresponsive yoyos were even created).

How do you get the yo-yo to spin long enough to do that trick? Is it the yo-yo, the bearing, or your throw because I can't do it.
+K Weiss It's a combination of all three. You need a strong throw and a yo-yo in good working order. Just keep practicing and you'll get it!

There is a steel ball bearing inside the yo-yo spinning at a very high speed that makes the noise.
