Wow Fleur can’t believe your baby is nearly here! I had an emergency c section and honestly, my recovery was great and super fast! So focus on your baby and also keep on top of your pain meds and you’ll be fine! Also, try and get up and mobile as soon as you’re allowed. It feels weird but really does help!
Fleur is the only one that stays so elegant and classy pregnant! You literally can't tell she's pregnant just sitting there. I've always wondered how you would be as a mom cuz ur so busy all the time I just couldn't picture your life different but this is gonna be such a fun and exciting journey for you! You're totally right- scheduled C-sections are COMPLETELY different from emergency sections! I'm a medical student and I've done so many deliveries now- planned C-sections tend to be pretty quick, controlled and way less stress for mom, baby, and the doctors! Plus you really only have to stay in the hospital 1 day more. Vaginal deliveries can be super difficult and traumatic for people too even though it seems "natural", so it's always best to do what's medically indicated 👌🏽 wish you a safe delivery!
You’re looking fantastic, Fleur! You also have a very healthy view of the pregnancy and labor & delivery. I’m a labor & delivery/postpartum nurse and there is nothing to fear with the c-section. Be sure to get up and walk as soon as you’re able after surgery even though it hurts because you’ll feel much better. Best of luck to you! I’m very excited for both you and Mike, you’re going to be brilliant parents!

I am 5ft 3 and have a short torso and I remember feeling SO FULL at the end of my pregnancies - it was like my bump started under my throat and ended at my knees! It was rough! These last few weeks are precious times - enjoy every minute! xx
Fleur I’m a children’s nurse and I have seen many births and planned sections are by far the most relaxed births I have seen. They are lovely, relaxed and controlled 🙂👍🏼 best of luck. Can’t wait to see the baby 💕

I'm so happy and excited for you and Mike. As far as c section goes - all you want is a healthy baby and mum and if that involves medical intervention then so what. I loved being pregnant and that feeling when you cradle your newborn child - nothing will ever beat it.

At 36.6 my waters broke with our 1st daughter so I needed an emergency caesarean. I was lucky to recover really well & be home in less than 24 hours. I gave birth @ 16:08pm & the next morning was walking around. It’s not entirely pain free but it’s totally bearable & I continued as normal as I could so not to overdo it & affect myself healing. So I’m glad you’re being so calm about it. I didn’t need a c-sec with our 2nd daughter who is now 9 months! You also look amazing & I’m so excited for you & Mike. I’m so broody & I have a baby & 3 year old!🙈xx
Beautiful Fleur! Our little girl Georgia Marie is one month old today. Following you for years and loved sharing this journey with you. We had so many the same pregnancy symptoms (same weight gain, breathlessness, hunger etc) and also share the ones we dont have. Good luck with the last few weeks. Take it easy and relax. I have given birth vaginally and scheduled c section ... it’s kind of a relief to know when you will have her. You will do amazing! My #1 advice is as soon as you can get up and move it has helped me and others I know recover faster. I hope you aren’t in the hospital on Christmas or New Years! Can’t wait to hear the name I’m sure it’s beautiful! Congrats and prayers for safe and easy delivery! ❤️

First of all, you look just as gorgeous, if not more, than you did before you got pregnant. I know I would not be that glowing if I were 8 months along lol. Second, I will miss daily vlogmas, but totally understand. Vlog what you can, when you feel like it, we'll be here to watch. And if it's just you hanging out with the puppies and Mike at home, I'm pretty sure those are a favorite for most of us here lol. Hi Fleur, I had to have a planned caesarean as my baby was breach. I had never been in hospital before so I was quite nervous. I had a very positive experience. The only advice I would give is to stay in hospital as long as you can as you will need to rest. C-sections can also affect your milk supply and we got readmitted after going home as the baby lost weight due to not getting milk. Therefore you may want to think about topping up with formula (if you were planning to BF)
FleurDeforce will change when you have your little girl. I'm looking forward to the new Mum De Force will be! And Dad...don't want to forget Mike!!! You look great!

So excited for you to meet your little one. My daughter is now 5 months and my pregnancy was so rough. My pelvis was completely tilted and caused birth issues but everything turned out okay. Being a mum is so much better that being pregnant and so much more rewarding than I could have ever imagined 🎉✨

I can completely empathise with you in this video! Im 8 months into my first prenancy and have also been having a lot of problems with my pelvis and have to have elective CS too! Not long to go now - I have been told to make the most of lazy PJ days before the little one makes an appearance! X
Oh Fleur! I'm so excited for you! I had an emergency C-section with my daughter 6 years ago and planned with my son this September and both went tremendously well. Recovery may be longer but it isn't a big deal for me. I can't wait to see #babydeforce and watch you and Mike grow as parents, it's the most wonderful adventure!

Congratulation to you and your family! Do not worry about c section.You wouldn’t think about that much as soon as you have your baby in your arm .i have my daughter c section as she was breech. I literally did everything straight away ,breastfeeding( no driving of course) the more you laying down,the longer to take it to be heal ( at least in my case :) Good luck.x

I giggled so much at the part when you talked about being hungry all the time, then eat too quick and are too full! This is me all of the time now (35 weeks), but I am getting the worst heartburn. It’s an old wives tale that how much heartburn you have relates to how much hair your baby has; more heartburn, more hair. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, you look gorgeous 💞
You look gorgeous!!I have a 3yo daughter and also had a c-section ( was programmed too, but they had to do it a month earlier so she was born at week 36) but it wasn't that terrible at all. You have a little chubby chunk demanding your atention and you're so mesmerized that barely have any time to notice any pain or feeling bad. So think it's for baby's wellness ( dunno if it's the propper word)and you're doing your best for her. Take things easy and ask for help to rest as much as you can the first month, the hormone levels are a rollercoaster and you'll feel every possible emotion in a day, so better if you are sad and want to cry now and then to have some help. Babyblues is real and can be tough. I hope all goes smooth and quick!

Please don't worry.. I had an 20hr labour which ended up with a c.section and my recovery was fine.. my second baby was a requested c.section and that too was fine with a great recovery.. remember which ever way your baby is born it doesn't matter as long as you are both happy and healthy.. good luck xxxx

Fleur ive never commented on your video before but I also had to have a planned c section due to medical reasons and i had a very postive experience which i am sure you will do to. Recovery is slow but it is really important to try and not lift anything for the first 6 weeks. Wishing you all the best Xx
I had a emergency c section just over a week ago and the procedure was absolutely fine! Was a bit shaky with it and a bit uncomfy but they gave more drugs to help cope with that, the best thing you can do afterwards even though it's the last thing you want to do is stand up even if it's just for five seconds it really helps loosen you up, make sure u keep asking for pain relief every hour that really helps! I couldn't walk at the start of the day and thought not sure how I would manage but by 4 o'clock I was up walking about and feeling great! Good luck ! Xx

Take care of yourself Fleur and don't worry about us. This is a very special time in your life, so try to enjoy it. Oh, and get your back taken care of too. If you need surgery, it's a walk in the park, and my back doc said that people in good physical shape pretty much always had great results, so you should do fine. I waited until my back went completely out and damaged a nerve. I lost all the feeling in my left leg. I had disc surgery and the doc didn't know if I would get feeling back or not. But I did after a couple of days and was out walking the dogs. It was wonderful to not feel that back pain anymore.
I’ve enjoyed watching these updates so much! I’m currently pregnant with my second. I’m about a month behind you so I am definitely feeling exhausted, breathless and hungry lol. Know that I am wishing you every bit of luck with your C-Section!
Wishing you the best in your delivery. I hope you won't feel any stress or fear. Cesarean sections are definitely a whole different experience, but every baby's birth is unique! However she needs to enter the world, she will!

After being induced twice and having vacuum, episiotomy and forceps I would request a c section if I had another baby, I have heard from lots of friends they are much quicker to recover from. I’m sure you will be so well looked after and have so many loved ones around you with wonderful support it will be an incredible experience for you and your baby girl will be here in no time! Just rest as much as you can and enjoy the calm times before the fun begins! Best of luck 😊

I'm so happy and excited for you and Mike. As far as c section goes - all you want is a healthy baby and mum and if that involves medical intervention then so what. I loved being pregnant and that feeling when you cradle your newborn child - nothing will ever beat it.

At 36.6 my waters broke with our 1st daughter so I needed an emergency caesarean. I was lucky to recover really well & be home in less than 24 hours. I gave birth @ 16:08pm & the next morning was walking around. It’s not entirely pain free but it’s totally bearable & I continued as normal as I could so not to overdo it & affect myself healing. So I’m glad you’re being so calm about it. I didn’t need a c-sec with our 2nd daughter who is now 9 months! You also look amazing & I’m so excited for you & Mike. I’m so broody & I have a baby & 3 year old!🙈xx

Beautiful Fleur! Our little girl Georgia Marie is one month old today. Following you for years and loved sharing this journey with you. We had so many the same pregnancy symptoms (same weight gain, breathlessness, hunger etc) and also share the ones we dont have. Good luck with the last few weeks. Take it easy and relax. I have given birth vaginally and scheduled c section ... it’s kind of a relief to know when you will have her. You will do amazing! My #1 advice is as soon as you can get up and move it has helped me and others I know recover faster. I hope you aren’t in the hospital on Christmas or New Years! Can’t wait to hear the name I’m sure it’s beautiful! Congrats and prayers for safe and easy delivery! ❤️

First of all, you look just as gorgeous, if not more, than you did before you got pregnant. I know I would not be that glowing if I were 8 months along lol. Second, I will miss daily vlogmas, but totally understand. Vlog what you can, when you feel like it, we'll be here to watch. And if it's just you hanging out with the puppies and Mike at home, I'm pretty sure those are a favorite for most of us here lol. Currently 5 months and your vlogs have been one of the things that have kept me going and excited through what was the worst first four months (diagnosed with HG, aka, severe morning sickness). Love them all and will be going back and re-watching some for your lovely tips and recommendations :)

Hi Fleur, I had to have a planned caesarean as my baby was breach. I had never been in hospital before so I was quite nervous. I had a very positive experience. The only advice I would give is to stay in hospital as long as you can as you will need to rest. C-sections can also affect your milk supply and we got readmitted after going home as the baby lost weight due to not getting milk. Therefore you may want to think about topping up with formula (if you were planning to BF)

So excited for you to meet your little one. My daughter is now 5 months and my pregnancy was so rough. My pelvis was completely tilted and caused birth issues but everything turned out okay. Being a mum is so much better that being pregnant and so much more rewarding than I could have ever imagined 🎉✨

I can completely empathise with you in this video! Im 8 months into my first prenancy and have also been having a lot of problems with my pelvis and have to have elective CS too! Not long to go now - I have been told to make the most of lazy PJ days before the little one makes an appearance! X
Oh Fleur! I'm so excited for you! I had an emergency C-section with my daughter 6 years ago and planned with my son this September and both went tremendously well. Recovery may be longer but it isn't a big deal for me. I can't wait to see #babydeforce and watch you and Mike grow as parents, it's the most wonderful adventure!
I don't have kids, I'm not pregnant, and I'm not planning on ever being pregnant, but I enjoy your updates because you're such a genuine person! My mom had two c sections and 3 vaginal deliveries and she said the c section recoveries weren't worse, just different. Congrats and I hope the last month goes smoothly!

I had to have an emergency Caesarian as my son was breech and it wasn't discovered until late on. I had never had surgery before either. You will be so excited about the birth of your daughter that you'll just get on with it. Good luck! Exciting times ahead x

Do not worry about c section.You wouldn’t think about that much as soon as you have your baby in your arm .i have my daughter c section as she was breech.
I literally did everything straight away ,breastfeeding( no driving of course) the more you laying down,the longer to take it to be heal ( at least in my case :)

I giggled so much at the part when you talked about being hungry all the time, then eat too quick and are too full! This is me all of the time now (35 weeks), but I am getting the worst heartburn. It’s an old wives tale that how much heartburn you have relates to how much hair your baby has; more heartburn, more hair. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, you look gorgeous 💞

You look gorgeous!!I have a 3yo daughter and also had a c-section ( was programmed too, but they had to do it a month earlier so she was born at week 36) but it wasn't that terrible at all. You have a little chubby chunk demanding your atention and you're so mesmerized that barely have any time to notice any pain or feeling bad. So think it's for baby's wellness ( dunno if it's the propper word)and you're doing your best for her. Take things easy and ask for help to rest as much as you can the first month, the hormone levels are a rollercoaster and you'll feel every possible emotion in a day, so better if you are sad and want to cry now and then to have some help. Babyblues is real and can be tough. I hope all goes smooth and quick!

Please don't worry.. I had an 20hr labour which ended up with a c.section and my recovery was fine.. my second baby was a requested c.section and that too was fine with a great recovery.. remember which ever way your baby is born it doesn't matter as long as you are both happy and healthy.. good luck xxxx

Fleur ive never commented on your video before but I also had to have a planned c section due to medical reasons and i had a very postive experience which i am sure you will do to. Recovery is slow but it is really important to try and not lift anything for the first 6 weeks. Wishing you all the best Xx

I had a emergency c section just over a week ago and the procedure was absolutely fine! Was a bit shaky with it and a bit uncomfy but they gave more drugs to help cope with that, the best thing you can do afterwards even though it's the last thing you want to do is stand up even if it's just for five seconds it really helps loosen you up, make sure u keep asking for pain relief every hour that really helps! I couldn't walk at the start of the day and thought not sure how I would manage but by 4 o'clock I was up walking about and feeling great! Good luck ! Xx

Take care of yourself Fleur and don't worry about us. This is a very special time in your life, so try to enjoy it. Oh, and get your back taken care of too. If you need surgery, it's a walk in the park, and my back doc said that people in good physical shape pretty much always had great results, so you should do fine. I waited until my back went completely out and damaged a nerve. I lost all the feeling in my left leg. I had disc surgery and the doc didn't know if I would get feeling back or not. But I did after a couple of days and was out walking the dogs. It was wonderful to not feel that back pain anymore.
I’ve enjoyed watching these updates so much! I’m currently pregnant with my second. I’m about a month behind you so I am definitely feeling exhausted, breathless and hungry lol. Know that I am wishing you every bit of luck with your C-Section!

After being induced twice and having vacuum, episiotomy and forceps I would request a c section if I had another baby, I have heard from lots of friends they are much quicker to recover from. I’m sure you will be so well looked after and have so many loved ones around you with wonderful support it will be an incredible experience for you and your baby girl will be here in no time! Just rest as much as you can and enjoy the calm times before the fun begins! Best of luck 😊
