Inspired by a true story, The Vow is the tale of a love that refuses to be forgotten. Leo (Channing Tatum, Dear John ) is devastated when a car accident plunges his wife Paige (Rachel McAdams, The Notebook ) into a deep coma. She miraculously recovers - but the last five years of her memories have vanished. Suddenly, Leo finds himself married to a stranger who can’t remember anything about him. Chaning Tatum and Rachel McAdams are both great actors. Both of they are so so good in their past movies like Dear John and The Notebook.

It's crazy how he was so afraid seeing her change... She was slowly becoming someone else and not the person he fell in love with. Heck, she couldn't even tell who he was.

I think people are being really harsh here. If you were in a committed relationship, in love, excited to be getting married, and all of sudden you wake up and you’re told that actually you’re married to someone else, it’d be natural to go to the person that in your mind you’re committed to. She shouldn’t have kissed him, but imagine being told “Um actually you’re not with your fiancé, you’re committed to this total stranger”
It would be natural to ask quetions like why did it end or why did I marry the other guy.
Don’t worry. This part is Hollywood. Plus the real couple is divorced. He cheated on her

ugh i hated him so much in this movie
this is why i couldnt muster a lot of sympathy for paige. yes she lost her memory.. but she treated leo like an inconvenience she pushed back on all his attempts to help her, kissing her ex and acting like a spoiled daddys girl..
She needed to know the truth about her dad before she could even be receptive to a guy like Leo
I think it happens when you’re missing such huge chunks of your memory, you tend to act a bit irrational and also inconsiderate. It isn’t to say she was completely justified, but she also was in a difficult position trying to figure out who she is now versus the person she last remembers herself being. While I wish she hadn’t kissed her ex, she knows him more in that moment more than her husband who she views as a stranger

Yeah that’s the whole point. Means he’s a good actor. He’s supposed to be un likeable rich business type.
I know most people are like that but as much as I love Rachel I just LOATH Channing so I have avoided this movie up to this point. I'm trying to decide if it's worth watching for Rachel. IDK. I see these clips with her and I want to see it. Then he steps on the screen and looks like her bodyguard and I just cringe.
