What amazes me, is the very limited credit to song writing Ross the Boss was given for Manowar. So, I take it that De maio wrote lead guitar etc., for the Boss on songs he wasn't credited for?

I think it's good that the singer looks the way he does, it becomes a contrast to his voice. You don't expect him to be singer super powerful heavy metal vocals. It would have been less fun if he had the usual long straight brown hair, black t-shirt and black jeans.

Ross's guitar tone is very similar to John Christ the guitarist from Danzig 1 through 4 ...
If the guitar had more powerful overdrive more highs less mid levels and a processor Ross would kill every Heavy Metal guitarist out there .

Ross the Boss is a legend, but Karl Logan was 10 times a better guitarist than him . Of course a man of shit, but as guitarist, Karl was the best Manowar had.
I think Shankle was pretty even with him, if not better.
