    how can u differentiate aphrodite from amabilis? seems the same for me...

      From the lips. _Phal. amabilis_ is narrower than _Phal. aphrodite_ .
      However, sometimes they are very difficult to verify. Because breeders had made many hybrids between them before _Phal. aphrodite_ was reclassified and seperated from _Phal. amabilis_ . Some nurseries still use the old name and call them both _Phal. amabilis_ .

      Yes, the Philippines is an important habitat to many species _Phalaenopsis_ orchids.
