Couldn't agree more. I have been very fascinated by this man for the past 6 months or so and have dived in to some of his writings. Incredibly brilliant man, and I'm surprised the influence that he holds today and the influence that he has had on so many....As I have often said in regard to different paths " All roads lead to or through Crowley." Thanks for the video.

@jaime15012 I think the best place to start might be "Portable darkness" put out by Sun Vision Press. It's a ridiculously silly title, but it has a really good collection of his writings. If you find it to your liking, the next step would probably be Book 4 Liber ABA (lovingly called the big blue brick).

The best one to start with is probably Book 4. It's fairly short but is a quick and dirty rundown of ceremonial magick. Then the intro to the lesser key of Solomon "The initiated interpretation of ceremonial magick." Then big blue "Magick book 4 and Liber ABA."

@@totostegemoe1214 Yeah, unfortunately Magick (big blue) is a bit on the expensive side. That said, it's well worth the reading. And let’s not forget no-one can be taken out of their era.
Some of Crowley’s personal discriminations were held by most of the people of his time.
Churchill for example had more than a bit of racism about him and misogyny as well, but! Without Winston Churchill the Nazi’s might have won the War.
    People forget this point.

It s strange how duality works and how many things we can be at the same time, because in the end opposites are one 😮🎉

I think you'll find his three main statements from The Book of the Law, have quite different meanings apart from the ones you give & they relate to each other being about sexual magick, as well as the spelling of Magick he adopted, 6 letters not 5, a hexagram not a pentagram & not composed of fire & water. Clue, the descending dove in the seal of the O.T.O. is wilt.

The principles of His writings are the working of the very deceptive powers that are rushing this age to a turning point largely to the soon destruction of many and most. I used DMT or rather Ana/ayahuasca, as well as all the usual psychedelics on countless occasions when I was younger. When I read Crowley’s writings on the Ouija board I found his descriptions of how elementals behaved uncannily close to how the lower order DMT entities behaved and found his descriptions fascinating. My expeiences with psyches didn't make me religious exactly but I did come to understand the emotionally parasitic nature of metaphysical demons that had on occasions utterly taken me over (psychosis) simply by playing on and manipulating my deepest subconscious fears.
Funny thing is, I would try DMT again some day but kinda hesitate to use the Ouija board...
