    I noticed that after doing this just a few times and then speaking while somewhat visualizing that I'm still speaking into the straw, actually helped me speak more comfortably. Crazy.

    Read your description, never heard of this. Does it help dysphagia either way or just the sound of your voice? I have a very deep voice so when I speak or cough or clear my throat it literally vibrates my entire throat. Also, didn't even notice your chipped tooth? You're beautiful and have a perfect smile so I don't even know what tooth you're talking about haha.😊Thanks for the video👍

      I have the same issue. Very deep voice. It's difficult for people to hear me in a crowd and to not be perceived as mumbling.

      @@adamhanna3531 Yeah sometimes guys with deeper voices have to get louder but for others sounds like a bass radio through the floor so it feels more straining.

    Why would you pinch the regular straw?

    • @SierraSpeech
      @SierraSpeech  3 роки тому +4

      Great question. To get the maximum back pressure, you want a small opening. Regular sized plastic straws have a wide enough opening to where there is not a lot of back pressure. When you close off the straw even more by pinching it, then you get more of an effect.
