Many thanks for uploading this. In the last couple of weeks I had a resurgent interest in the British Wrestling scene & have been checking bits out on UA-cam, which take me right back to my youth! As I'm a lot older now, I want to know about the people behind these amazing personas & it seems super hard to find anything on Martin. I've only seen one semi serious interview & I felt the interviewers were trying to bate him a little to bring out the Haystacks persona, which I felt was a bit unfair. So sad he went so young. Will be sure to check out your book. Would be great if you could include a link to where I can get a copy. Thanks.
i was wrestling at the spa in scarbough north yorkshire. as a young wrestler trying to break into the buisness. i couldnt find anywere to park my car so i went to ask i opened a dore to the dressing room to find this giant of a man sat on two large chair one bum check on each i said excuse me mr stacks were can i part my car he lifted his head loocked me in the eye and sdaid do i look like a car part attendent i said no he said well fuck off then i left rather fast .giant of a man and one you didnt mess with great days great memorys
Wow I never knew this existed. I would love to read it. I grew up watching the big man and when I grew up even wrestled him once. Is there anywhere I can get it?
Great book, thoroughly enjoyed it. Martin's short time in WCW didn't reflect his career. Always wished he'd kept more mobile by keeping below 500lb/35 stone mark. Tremendous wrestling character and much missed.
A very good read. Martin was articulate, intelligent and had a super sense of humour. Many thanks for a great publication.
That's my Grandad, where would I be able to get a copy?
Saw him wrestle live many times, at Preston Guild Hall. - Had his autograph. - Along with Big Daddy he was my greatest hero as a kid.

Would it be possible to get a copy for me and my dad?
Hi, is there anywhere to still buy the book?
