I ran into a fender american ultra stratocaster just the other day and the model has already became my 2023 Christmas gift to myself lol. I'm super lucky to learn that you have the texas tea + rosewood fretboard combo at your shop. It's a shame the same combo can't be found for the texas tea strat model. Ill have to come by and play that tele for myself.
I have this reserved at my local music store. I have to say you are the first channel i have seen that has fully shown in clips the color difference how it goes from complete black to a golod/bronze type color. really love this video and it certainly has confirmed my desire to get this guitar. Thank you for your review
Thanks! Yeah that color has to be seen, and took a lot of trial and error to make sure it looked good on film. It’s one of our favorite finishes by Fender.
I just opened my Sweetwater box ! I’m stunned by this guitar !! The Texas Tea is so stunning ! This is a great video ! I’ve sent the link to my friends so they can see it in action. Great job.
I was in market for a guitar as i have a 2011 MIM tele stock and was time to upgrade. I was torn between this Tele or PRS SE MCarty 594 but ended up going for 2023 Tele Texas Tea. It is used but in mint condition with no case/warranty so it was 1500 so i decided to pull the trigger. The guitar quality and rosewood neck are amazing and feels premium, best guitar i ever owned and easy to play. Si button was not working so i had to readjust knob as it seems to need to be put in and tightened in a certain way to allow volume/s1 button stay down. Now the bad for me. The pickups are not that great. The neck pickup is missing some punchiness and bridge is just ok with OD pedals. I play thru a 2017 Fender Vibrolux Reverb. I love this guitar but i'm not sure if just replacing neck/bridge pickup with a different one would be enough to be happy with it. Any of you guys replaced pickups on this guitar? thoughts?
I bought one when they first hit the market. Came with a bunch of QC problems which involved resoldering, a wobbly gritty tone pot, also the switch tip broke within a few months. I think the tone pot is what bothers me the most. but the rest of the guitar is nice, but for my very first telecaster I was hoping for a better experience. Took me a long time to bond with it.
@@kirkwilliams2127 certainly did get a PLEK. Not only that, the some components broke such as the blade switch knob broke straight away. If you check the quality of the metal covering it’s super flimsy and cheap. The only things I like about the guitar is the stability, SS frets, sound is ok and the neck is really nice.
I have the ultraBurst version, I love the Texas Tea color,

Had to watch 10 other videos before this to find one that was able to show the color in its variety. Thanks, well done
Thanks for tuning in! It’s a spectacular color, one of my favorites from Fender.
Have one ordered. Can’t wait. Gonna be 3 months. They are hard to get.
That's a beautiful guitar
The video doesn’t do it justice for how beautiful it actually is in person. One of the best finishes Fender does.

Did you get it Plek’d first? That’s sounds really weird. I highly recommend on all new orders. I change string as well.

@@jimbotskithe ultras don’t have ss frets.
@@doug1274 correction, ultra luxe
Love the neck. Don’t like the pickups…wish the saddles were brass barrel like the Amer Pro ii.
