Nice hall. The 1/4 inch ratchet is pretty sweet. I love the spinner with the 1/4 pass through as well. I have an old Allen one like that I've used almost everyday for over 20 years.
Just an FYI ( many companies get it wrong today because it's often forgotten, but those companies are stupid and 100% wrong ) a spinner handle can be attached to a ratchet while a driver handle cannot, they're 2 different tools
That new Klein is pretty sweet. Definitely cool the way you can put it in the impact and customize. I like the old school stuff more though. Thanks for watching!
If you want a good 1/4dr spinner handle, check out the WRIGHT 2442. Just make sure it's the 2442, because they also make the 2441 driver handle without the female drive in the butt of the handle. A lot of distributors mix up the stock photos, or interchangeably use 1 photo with the model number photoshopped off for both, and I ordered the wrong one twice before getting it right.
@@realworldtoolreviews they do make a good one, and it's not expensive either. Sure you can get an import for under $10, but the WRIGHT is still under $20 from most distributors. I personally can't stand driver handles, I just think their a useless waste of materials when it doesn't cost any extra to make a spinner handle. With the WRIGHT they literally just crimp a couple flanges into their 6" extension blank instead of roll stamping it. They swap one operation for another and use a countersunk drill on the handle. It's not costing them any more to make except for maybe using a little bit more steel.
I'm lucky....I am in areas where the tools come easy. I'm toying with a pressure washer that came out of the trash because , well...so far it was in the trash due to a bad pull cord. Today I'll film and see if it has a good pump or if it was left to freeze. Great video (no not mine...mine stink)
I hope you know how lucky you are to live in an area where you can find deals like that. Estate sale I went to was very much over priced. To give an example, a bin of mixed Chiwanese sockets was labeled $5. a piece. SK sockets 1\4" drive $10 a piece, $15 for the 1\2" drive. Wasn't interested in bargaining at all. They did get $20 from me for a new in bag Armstrong 1\4 inch drive ratchet and another $5 for two of those short Craftsman 5\16 flat blade screwdrivers. I grew up with raised panel wrenches, but sad to say, I no longer favor them, they just don't feel as comfortable in my hand as a smooth polished wrench, especially when really reefing on them as I so often find myself doing. That black handled extension (nut spinner) looks like a MasterCraft. The odd looking clamp looks like a hold down for an old Craftsman chop saw. You certainly got a few great tools. Those Channellock pliers are awesome! You can't go wrong with classic Nicholson files either. I always grab those old Stanley screwdrivers too. That Stanley Workmaster ratchet was a good find as well. It's a shame what Stanley has become in this day and age. I'm looking forward to hear you opinion on that new Klein, thanks for sharing 👍
Yea I must be lucky. I do spend a lot of time looking for stuff, but pretty much everywhere I go I find something worth picking up. I feel the same about raised panel wrenches. They just aren’t as comfortable. I like to collect them, but I like using the proto ones the best. Those proto wrenches have really comfortable rounded edges. I’ll be coming out with the Klein video later this week 👍
@@realworldtoolreviews oh...I could see that. Makes sense. I picked up a plastic mitre box the other day.....I saved it. Now I'm thinking....why? I have at least five electric mitre boxes. Besides...it doesn't have a clamp.
Love those old S-K Lectrolite wrenches. I bought a full SAE set at an estate sale. I really like how substantial they feel, especially through out the middle. It’s much thicker material than used today.
I can’t help but buy a file every time I go into the used tool store. They’re only $1, I have 50 of them, but it’s just too much to resist. And I use them in a nice Snap-On file handle so even the old ones feel special😂
$20 well spent. Sometimes it’s not even the value of the items. People spend more on entertainment with nothing to show but a good time or a headache. Tool budget/entertainment budget? More entertainment value than the $20 I spent on disposable gloves and safety glasses 😂
Yea that’s the way I justify it. It’s a whole lot cheaper than most forms of entertainment and I have a ton of fun doing it. I used to drink 20 bucks in an hour 😂
As I walked through Harborb freight today I thought about your channel. I couldn't walk about without buying clamps and Brennan vise grips for 30% off.
If you put a thick and sturdy piece of wood in your wise, the wise swiveled, so that the wood reaches above your workbench, than the wise-like-thing could clamp things down in the middle of your workbench....

Thanks bud. Yea I love those spinner handles with the 1/4 inch back. It’s one of those tools that just makes sense. They should all have that.
Just an FYI ( many companies get it wrong today because it's often forgotten, but those companies are stupid and 100% wrong ) a spinner handle can be attached to a ratchet while a driver handle cannot, they're 2 different tools
I'll take the new klein screwdriver over the entire bag of flea market finds.

Yea the 1/4 female on the handle is super important. I love those. I bet wright makes a good one.

@@TylerSnyder305 where would suggest I buy one? HJE have them?
@@realworldtoolreviews HJE has them for $19.82.
I bought mine from Abolox for a few bucks less, but they're currently out of stock.
@@TylerSnyder305 I haven’t been on HJE in a while. I’ve got that spinner handle and a bunch of other stuff in the cart now 😬😬😂😂
I still sharpen my mower blades with a hand file like those
👍 me too. I’ve got a Nicholson file that actually says mower file on it.
Awesome finds, I wish there were better places around me for vintage used tools
It takes a lot of time to find the good stuff. I go to a bunch of dud sales. Thanks for watching!

I think the ratchet is cool, I can figure out how to use it.......but that clamp...Beats me? tHanks for the video
Somebody commented saying it looks like a clamp from one of the older craftsman miter saws. Thanks for watching!

I would have also snagged those larger Craftsman wrenches whether I needed them or not. Lol
On the hunt for 19mm-30mm! Maybe one day.
The big metric craftsman is harder to find. I need those sizes too!
Let me send you a 3/4 raised panel SK! It’s an extra
That’s kind of you to offer, but I like to get them on my own. I feel like it’s cheating to fill in the gaps that way 😂
What about Indesto, are they Good?
Indestro is awesome. I have a lot of odds and ends from them. Sockets and wrenches mostly. They were a solid brand back in the day.
