I actually had such a moment of nostalgia from 25 years ago HGTV. Toronto really made HGTV. I live in Montreal and Toronto is absolutely my design aesthetic. Gorgeous…!

I love the hair/make-up salon station, it is so compact and space saving

That was fun, thank you. The make-up table I think was the most exciting, as Brian mentioned recessed into the wall, yes please. Oh, the modular "housing units", didn't really get to see them. Excellent concept, take house will travel! Studio for a rental property, mom comes to visit 4 months out the of year, application is truly limitless.

So many great items and creations, love House & Home and love you two. That A frame Cabn reminds me of the playhouse our father built for us. Love going to IDS Vancouver.

Nice tour. I would have loved if they had commented on the incredible quality of Montauk sofas instead of just focusing on the fabric ;)

Could you please tell me where the bowls come from where you were talking about using one of the colors in the bowl at the new office?

In case you didn't know Brian Gluckstein seemed to be unaware of the sign that says "please do not touch to student work" and yet he bypassed this information and touched the chairs at 10:40. It's sad when high level professional designers have this entitlement to be unaware and not respect the conditions and asks of younger entrepreneurs due to an arrogance that has been reinforced through awards and celebration with their work. I hope Brian becomes more aware of his surroundings and pays attention to the details around the environment including what others are doing. I was at the IDS show yesterday (Saturday) and saw this installation and there were signs saying "please do not touch the student work". I hope he can be more aware and mindful of his surroundings and the fellow interior designers that make interior design a ever-learning, competitive, impactful and diverse career path that leads to better futures for all.

    Sustainable luxury 😳🤦‍♀️

  • @MyLogHomeLife

Fool yourself on sustainable luxury. I agree on the hybrid vs. all electric or gas, but buying a car for a lot of money and only keeping it a few years is not sustainable. I’ve had my car since 2009 and have no plans to update it because it’s a great, dependable car. No car is sustainable.

The pretentiousness of it all. "I have this at home" countered with "I have this at the Lake". All over a $2,000 dishwasher.

Hey, have fun watching, why the negativity 😁. Its their job and they have a target audience. And no matter what you or me think they bring joy to so many. And are much less pretentious than politicians 😅

It is sooo outdated, even though it’s 2024… 😂 „hidden” dishwasher is a basic thing in Europe from like 15 years ago or even more… I’m just sad that US is so far behind with design

This is CANADA Design Show, not the US. I did not go this year, because of that reason same old same old. Best Show to attend in in London England.
