every fine dining restaurant kitchen I have worked in or ran has always made EVERYTHING from scratch, that's why you start at 8am and finish at about 1am six days a week =)

Stock cubes for home use or simple seasoning are fine but only lazy/unskilled chefs use cubes to make stocks in the restaurant =)

It was part of the Good Friday Agreement that Northern Ireland would receive the Irish channels RTÉ One and Network Two and the Republic would get UTV, ITV , Channel 4 and BBC One and Two. Prior to that those channels had been readily available to southern viewers anyway. Other BBC channels are also available on more expensive UPC and Sky packages.
