They need old farm fields for food, watering ponds to swim in and eat aquatic plants, and areas with no human disturbances to nest, hatch eggs and raise their babies. It's not just 1 duck we are talking about here, there are millions and millions of them that fly from Canada to Texas and Mexico and back. They practically need more than 14 million acres at this point to increase the huntable population.

my father hunted ducks,and other birds.My job was to help my mother prepare the prey to cookI know for a fact what my father. Brought back from the fields of South Carolina,were not drones,they were delicious.I still have the old Browning 12gage he used to take most of them
