Thanks Taylor! So helpful! My applications already submitted but this video is keeping me hopeful! Best wishes for you and your sisters! Especially Lauren and I who are still in "application received" mode😂
thank you so much for telling me that you don't absolutely have to apply the day applications drop. i won't be applying for another year, I plan on doing fall 2020, but it already gave me anxiety thinking about rushing to fill it out
Hey! Wow, we need to be BFF's. I am up here at UVU! I applied on Monday, and within three minutes, I received my WBI, and then PI right after that! I 100% agree with everything you said. Also, I put Custodial as my top (mostly because of your videos), and I couldn't be more excited.
Hi!! I just applied to the fall DCP like 4 hours ago lol and this video definitely helped me through the stress of the application. But now super nervous because it says, "application received" .Even though I only applied today I see that many people get answers about it within the hour or so.
if you get stuck in submission I know they def look at it to bump you out at least when I did it bc the recruiters would tweet when a submission wave would happen! There's def hope for your sister, bc I got stuck in submission for my program for this year and I got waved out and I got in! Crossing my fingers for the three of you!
Whoa! Congrats on getting accepted so many times! So to clarify: turning down an acceptance does not ruin your chances of getting in again in the future?
You mentioned that you had kept on applying to keep up with the updates of the application, if you apply, get in, and deny the acceptance, does it hinder you from getting accepted a second time?
I applied the day after it opened (for both parks but Disneyland is my home park) and I'm currently in submission. I didn't know you find out so soon about the wbi. do you think there's still a chance to move forward?
what’s your opinion on me as a freshman applying now to get a feel of the application and maybe turning it down if I get accepted because ideally next year would be when I would love to go? Do they hold that against you if you turn it down?
After watching this video, I applied (my 2nd time) and I got a web-based interview!! I didn't even get that far last time!! Do you have any tips for that portion, Im scared to start it!
I applied the day applications dropped and like Lauren I’m in “application received”. Do you think there was something that made Lauren go into submission while you and Sarah didn’t? (Like the roles or job experience, etc.) I did most of these tips (except I submitted my application at 5:30cst) and I really hope I move forward or receive an update soon. Best of luck to the three of you!
I think there really isn't something that specifically sends you to a WBI! I got a WBI when I applied for last spring right away where as for this season (fall) I got stuck in submission and then a couple of weeks later got waved through to do a WBI (which I by passed bc they are good for a year) and then a PI! I think it just depends on how many people are applying that day tbh and it randomly selects you for a wbi.
I think that she got put in bc she is a freshman that hasn’t lived on her own. Everything else on her application looked great. But I think they try to get mostly sophomores + juniors. She also submitted it at 4:30 EST so idk maybe that had something to do with it but who knows!
Tparty That makes sense. I wondered if being a freshman would have anything to do with your consideration but since I had never heard anyone talk about it I really wasn’t sure if that was a possibility. Thanks for answering my question!
alaskaisalexa if you enjoy filming and editing then for sure! I enjoy doing those things so it was fun to do and it’s fun to have those memories to look back on. But if it’s something you don’t enjoy, then you won’t be committed to it.

Yesss Taylor!!! Met you at Cosmic's this summer! I applied this time around again... The fomo is real. Good Luck

Brandon Galli ah yay! My sister goes to UVU currently!
Can I do the disney college program in Anaheim more than once?
Thank you so much for the tips! I've watched so many of your videos. I've been accepted for Spring 2019!!!

So jealous right now! But so excited to live the dcp through you again. Hope y’all get in ❤️

Shaniya Anne wahoo! Good luck!
Hey any updates on your spring dcp? was hoping to meet you & your sisters this spring!!!

sophistikated ah that’s so good to hear!!
So helpful for when I want to apply in a few years!
It would be so cool to see you and your sisters in the DCP.
I have been stuck in submission the last 2 times I applied and got through to the phone interview and sadly failed both times.
I hope they still have this in 5 years so I can go to this
oh my gosh, girl you're so gorgeous!
ZarriahRose thank you!
Ah I applied for the spring 2019 program and the fomo is hitting me hard. I did my first program Fall 2015.
I'm following your steps, I submitted my app about an hour ago and already got the WBI. Wish me luck this is the furthest I have every gotten.
That's so awesome!!
@@Tparty2 just to let you know, I got in I'll be working in fantasyland. I'm 100% sure it was because of your tips! So thank you so much!
Tiara Averhart aw I love that!! Have so much fun!!
Whoa! Congrats on getting accepted so many times! So to clarify: turning down an acceptance does not ruin your chances of getting in again in the future?
Erika S I don’t think it does!
Where’s your necklace from?
You mentioned that you had kept on applying to keep up with the updates of the application, if you apply, get in, and deny the acceptance, does it hinder you from getting accepted a second time?

Yep! “Applied” waves do happen! Don’t be discouraged and never count yourself out until you receive a “no longer in consideration” status. Good luck!
to be a Parade Performer is it under the category of Character Performer?
VICATAKA FAM yes! I believe Dcp kids can only do the seasonal parades which operate during the fall semester
Any news on your Spring DCP? Fingers crossed!!
what’s your opinion on me as a freshman applying now to get a feel of the application and maybe turning it down if I get accepted because ideally next year would be when I would love to go? Do they hold that against you if you turn it down?
savannah erickson I think it’s a great idea! It will make the process a little less scary when you are actually ready to do
After watching this video, I applied (my 2nd time) and I got a web-based interview!! I didn't even get that far last time!! Do you have any tips for that portion, Im scared to start it!
Caroline Emma wahoo! Congrats!
What role did you apply for this time around
Amber Hart a bunch of them 😂
Tparty do you want custodial again
omg what party are you going to?
My little sister is also applying to come down she was just sent the WBI! I came down last fall and I haven't left yet :)
We went to the Halloween party last week!

Sam V. Of course !
Out of curiosity, did Lauren end up getting into the program?
This might be a weird question but do you recommend vlogging your DCP program ?
