firstly, i submitted my application for Fall 2019, and got denied for the program which bummed me out. But here I am, applied for Fall 2020 and got my phone interview for 2/6 and I am praying to get accepted 😭💗 sending good vibes to those who just applied as well and those who are still here a year later!
Great advice! I was in the College Program too long ago to mention. Makes me feel old. 😕 Good advice though on being honest and patient. I was not accepted the first time I applied and had to go a second time to really show how interested I was. We didn’t have web based interviews back then. It was all in-person with a traveling recruiter. For those who are interested, take any job you can get! It’s an experience. It was tough learning but all good and fun at the same time.
I bet a million dollars you DID apply! 😉 This is an excellent video! Anyone who is interested in the DCP should watch this. I agree that no matter what your area of study is, the program is very beneficial. Whatever your role is, it teaches you responsibility, time management, how to deal with people, etc. These life skills will help in you in the career path you choose, and also your personal life. ☺
I honestly wish this is something I would have tried in my undergraduate. Especially to get that experience on my resume. I have a lot of friends who did it and had a blast.
I’m hoping i catch next week’s wave! I found your channel through the Facebook group and I haven’t been able to stop watching your videos lol You are so transparent and funny, I love your videos! They’re so helpful ❤️
You still can take classes online for a collage but your schedule will be very very busy and depending on your collage I would ask someone because it is an internship it depends how your collage dose things
hi bronwyn! i have my phone interview coming up and was curious as to what personal questions they will ask. it’d be amazing if you could help, thank you so much!
for job experience should you list like leadership positions for clubs at your school? Ive always done mostly that other than paid jobs so I just want to make sure there'd be a way for me to list that kind of experience!
Hello there pretty Bronwyn! You are really smart about the Disney College Program! I am a huge Disney freak for about 21 years and love Disney World sooo much, but I am not interested in the program! I still like your story though!
The first two times I applied, I never even got a WBI. The third time I applied, I got a WBI and scheduled my PI the day apps dropped and got accepted during the first wave. I really didn’t change anything between apps, although I went from being a freshman to a sophomore and I think that’s what helped me. I check into my WDW CP on the 28th, can’t believe it WOW
Josh It was amazing!! I started out as Fantasyland merch and extended into Photopass. I did a whole year on the CP. I went part time in Photopass in January 😊
I applied for Fall 2019 and only put interest in 3 roles and got my WBI and PI scheduled all in the same day so don't stress about the number of roles you put interest in! :D
I am applying for Fall 2020 and I am SO nervous. I am in school for Pre Nursing but am not sure if that’s what I want to do. I work in customer service and I love it. I also have interned at elementary schools and love working with children. I feel like this would be such a awesome experience for me. I am scared since I am majoring in pre nursing that they will jot accept me. HELP 😭
wow I recently just transferred schools too and i want to get settled here like you said. I know it’s silly to apply for this fall but I just want to for fun and to see how I can improve my application
Are you studying with your school, community college or university while in Disney college? And other than working in the Disney park what’re you classes like?
I just applied for my first time!!!! I was wondering what the difference was between your first and second application besides you selecting more role interests? Or do you think it could've just been a timing thing?
Applied 2 days ago! Still waiting for a PI(I have a valid WBI from applying last season) I got accepted but sadly had to decline to finish school. Hopefully they decided to re offer me a role, I will be heart broken if I tuned down my acceptance then, but don't get accepted again.
Are the any age restrictions? I think I will be around 23 by the time I am able to apply because my husband and I are moving soon and then I am going back to college. I'm nervous about potentially being too old for the program. Any advice?
Hey I am in South Africa doing my final year in University and wanna some sort of tips i can use to increase my chances of being accepted in this program.
Hey! I noticed that you have a nose piercing and I know that they don't allow that while working at the parks. I have one too and I'm wondering how you hide it when working? Do you use a retainer and cover it with makeup or something else?
I want to be an ER nurse. And want to do this. I want to be a life guard and I’m CPR certified too! Do you apply going into freshman year of college? Or should wait?
Kara Cogan in a few videos i heard you have to take a semester of college and then in others i heard you have to take 2 years i an confused on which on , also can i be enrolled in a community college?
I'm stressing because I applied yesterday and put "low interest" for things I don't really want to do!!! 😫😫 What if I get in and am stuck with a bad role!?!?
kaekaelala the process is a little different, if you want some info you can check out emily’s wanderland, which is a disney vlog channel from a girl who lives in england

Andrea Santos I just had my phone interview today! I hope you got in!!
Did you get it??
Hi! I really hope you get/got in! I'm in 7th grade so I still have a very long time but I hope to get into the disney college program one day!!
Just wanted to confirm to you that there is no GPA requirement for the DCP.
You have to have at least a 2.0 GPA

So I applied, did the web interview and got accepted a few days later. No interview or nothing after the web part.
Can you explain a little bit more about what the summer alumni program is?
I’m thinking of applying but i don’t know where to go, such as links. Do you remember it? I signed up for the email but haven’t got anything

Hey I know this is an older post but I wanted to ask if the college program did a 2 months program in the summer????
Applied 2 days ago! Still waiting for a PI(I have a valid WBI from applying last season) I got accepted but sadly had to decline to finish school. Hopefully they decided to re offer me a role, I will be heart broken if I tuned down my acceptance then, but don't get accepted again.

Are the any age restrictions? I think I will be around 23 by the time I am able to apply because my husband and I are moving soon and then I am going back to college. I'm nervous about potentially being too old for the program. Any advice?
As long as you're an undergrad who's completed 1 semester of college, you should be able to apply!
how do you do two programmes?
how does the bright futures scholarship work if you want to do the dcp?
Hey I am in South Africa doing my final year in University and wanna some sort of tips i can use to increase my chances of being accepted in this program.
is there a dcp for the cruises??
No :(
Hey! I noticed that you have a nose piercing and I know that they don't allow that while working at the parks. I have one too and I'm wondering how you hide it when working? Do you use a retainer and cover it with makeup or something else?
Also, if you apply for the fall and don't get in, can you reapply for the following spring program?
i took mine out!
I want to be an ER nurse. And want to do this. I want to be a life guard and I’m CPR certified too! Do you apply going into freshman year of college? Or should wait?
Madileine Chase You’re only allowed to apply after your first semester as a freshman, don’t remember if you have to be a sophomore or not.
You just have to go through one semester of college, and then you can apply whenever!
Kara Cogan do i have to take a certain class ?
malia garcia Nope!
Kara Cogan in a few videos i heard you have to take a semester of college and then in others i heard you have to take 2 years i an confused on which on , also can i be enrolled in a community college?
hi!! i was wondering if you still answer dms?
Can you do the program if you study in Europe?
There is a specific program for international students
I'm stressing because I applied yesterday and put "low interest" for things I don't really want to do!!! 😫😫 What if I get in and am stuck with a bad role!?!?
Catherine Hewitt There’s really no such thing as a bad role. Honestly it’s get a role or get rejected. 🤷♀️
Do you have to be studying in the USA to do it?
Nope! There is an international program :)
kaekaelala the process is a little different, if you want some info you can check out emily’s wanderland, which is a disney vlog channel from a girl who lives in england
I think they used to ask for your GPA but they don't anymore
i knew i wasn't crazy
Is there a UK equivalent to this? :)
There's a cultural exchange program that does a similar thing, though you might just be working in the UK pavilion in Epcot. It depends!
Emily’s Wanderland is on UA-cam, she did the cep from the uk!
I applied already and didnt get in :(
don't give up! sometimes it just takes time
Hannah last year I applied and go to the online interview and didn’t pass. This year I didn’t get pass the application. So idk
I was waiting for “hello everyone” intro😂
i literally redid the intro about 6 times because I kept blubbering over my words hahaha
Haha that’s so funny 😂
