@@gig7932 @ well that’s good to know. I fell off of Vinland Saga a while ago (not because I think it got bad but because I just busy at the time) and I’m planning on rereading all of the manga once it finally ends.
Welp Oshi no Ko and JJK got rushed endings and the fans aren't happy. Seems to be always loose plot-holes, unanswered questions, what was the point of Character A and Character(+ with Plot point A or B or C) and unsatisfactory mediocre developments near the finish line. I feel like i'm missing some points but yer' get my logic.
@@psypokeslowduck2880 I can see that with JJK but I heavily disagree with Oshi No Ko. I’m satisfied with the ending and I don’t really think it’s all that rushed. Would I like to have seen some things expanded upon? sure but it’s ending more or less how I imaging it would and I’m okay with that. I mean Oshi No Ko is a tragedy so I was expecting a bittersweet end (also I’ve seen the reaction being more mixed if anything. Some like it others hate it. I’ve been consuming various forms of media for so many years (novels, movies, shows etc) and even some of the greatest stories of all time have less than stellar endings (look at the Sopranos for example). There’s a really good article made by the NYT where they talk about television show and why most of them don’t have the best endings. The abridged version is that basically most creators go in just hoping that they don’t get cancelled. Some of them don’t even have endings in mind at all. Basically, to them, the middle is more important than the ending. I see this explanation as pretty much applying to manga (this also heavily applies to comic books as well). But even then though there are some manga that ended very recently that I thought had good endings (Houseki no Kuni being one). But yeah, I think there is a good discussion to be had about whether the fans are either too entitled or maybe we should have high expectations for endings. For me, I feel like it’s a tiny bit of both as I would still like a good ending anyway but I also understand that not everything can be wrapped up 100% and things will not always go my way. And also, endings are just really hard even for the best writers. I learned this the hard way as some who has studied writing.
Bro, what about king Canute? Haven't seen him in a long time, how can the story end at this point. There has to greater climax that fighting those native people, most probably it's gonna rely on a depressing ending if it's gonna end that soon
Oshi No Ko just got a rushed ending which is funny considering JuJutsu Kaisen just had a bad ending. What is this, the start rushed endings all around? xD
Ok well if the Mangaka feels like his story is complete and he is satisfied with what he created then it's up to him when it ends. I'm not a big Manga reader, but I have heard that it's in the final arc. After that it's up to the anime production team to animate the rest of the story. I don't see where the idea that it's being rushed is coming from.
Tragic.... 😢😢 My Hero Academia July 7, 2014 - August 5, 2024 Jujutsu Kaisen March 5, 2018 - September 30, 2024 Oshi no ko April 23, 2020 - November 14, 2024 Now Vinland Saga... Certainly Black Clover April 2025... 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Tbh I wasn’t season 2 needed more action. As an action anime fan who came from Naruto, bleach, attack on Titan and my all time favorite Dragon Ball. The shift from action and blood to slavery and farming it rubbed me the wrong way. If we get a season 3 I’m 40/60 leaning less to watching it but I will consider watch it if the animation stays amazing.
In my opinion the shift that season 2 made was really great and made sense as it really shows how its not just a shounen and it's a character drama with complex themes of morality and war
just go watch solo leveling then, no need to watch furthur u really missing the point of vs. The story and character writing really peaks from S2 the "no action" excuse can go in trashcan it's an immature view, less action is on purpose for Thorfin's mindset to grow, seems like u watch stuff for eyecandy animation mainly then do so meh -_-
We're testing more frequent uploads and also longer video! hope you enjoy
Everything is a rushed ending now lol I’m so desensitized by this phrase now
I'm a manga reader and it's obvious that we're near the end now, it isn't being rushed.

Yukimura's been saying this for years. The story is nearly at its climax

Bro just making shit up for the views😂 we are in the last phase of the story since 2019..
Bro his manga is monthly so obviously it takes more to end it
You can tell all the people freaking out aren't caught up
"Nah bro, final arc on 2019 means it ends on 3019 because thousand year voyage, duh"
if you read the manga, you could tell vinland saga was ending soon lmfao.
yeah but they are in Vinland so it should end spoilers in history the Vikings failed to settle in North America due to distance and other factors
Welcome to the NHK profile picture goat
The final arc began in 2019, it's not Shonen Yukimura who knows what he's doing
Don’t be elitist
The first two volumes of Vinland saga are Shonen, the demographic for manga doesn’t mean as much as you think it does lil bro.
Vinland Saga isn't for shonen heads
It's a big 3 seinin manga for a reason want to know why skip the anime and read the manga god damnit!

It's hardly rushed, it started in 2005. I think it's about time to end after almost 20 years don't you think ?
lol One Piece is still going strong.
Need season 3 soon!

Love the Vinland Saga
People hating on Vinland saga season 2 should stay watching dubbed dragon ball super.
1 dragonball is peak 2 it was a drastic change probably better as a manga thr anime just randomly changed like completely random

Oshi no ko April 23, 2020 - November 14, 2024
Now Vinland Saga...
Certainly Black Clover April 2025... 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
To be honest the first season was good second season caught me off guard how it started but it was really good after I washed it
rushing destroys the manga...
It is anything but rushed.
Season 2 anime was a complete 180 from the first.. Yes it was well written but it deviated too far from what had me excited about watching the first.

season 2 is depth and maturity
Season three will have a lot of action
And that’s perfectly fine, we all got our own likes and dislikes.
