I know some of my opinions are not liked... but I come from both a hobby side of electronics, and a lot of collage electronics classes. (Physics and close to my EE) But I'm glad you like the input.
i really love your videos, your explanation on how you do everything is amazing. Yes everyone has different ways of doing things but your way is easy to follow and understand. Thanks for the content.
Thanks for the complement. I really try not to edit too much. To me... the 5 min videos that only give highlights leave a lot out for the people who want to actually do the work.
Nice video. One question is: does the Boxy Pixel GBA accept the Nintendo wireless adapter? I have been playing all my GBA games on a Macro but just got into 3rd gen Pokémon games. I had an opportunity to trade with another player but that's something you can't do with the Macro mod.
It should.... but it doesn't have the locking holes. I can verify in a day or two. I will stop at the local used game store, and try one. As far as the macro... the wireless never worked with the DS units.
Man that looks good. Am just getting into modding gameboys (stuff is in the mail right now lmao). I realize the video is a bit old by now but do you remember how loud the buttons were to use?
I'm not sure what you mean by how loud the buttons are. They rattle a little... but it's nothing you would notice while playing. If you meant something else... just let me know.
Do you know which wires went where for the audio amp? I'm trying to go off of your video but its too zoomed out for me to see. Even a link to where you got the spots to wire too would be greatly appreciated.
The audio in is from the original speaker point... and audio out is to the speaker. The power can come from anywhere you want. Generally, you can find it on filter caps. One side will be + and one side will be ground.
Was interested in watching this mod but had to shutoff there were wayyyy too many ads (first time ever I had to stop a video). More ads then on regular TV. Will never watch another one of your videos ads were toooooo annoying 🙄
I just ordered everything and felt confident I could pull it off with just the instructions they provided, but this will be a great asset
You will like the build once done. I leave my vids long to show all the detail. Good luck
Awesome video. I liked hearing your opinions on the diode setup.

@@PghGameFix That is exactly it, i for one appreciate the way you explain and show everything that is important to the fix/repair. Thank you.
thanks! I'm getting ready to do my install
Hope my vid helps show all the details you needed.
Where can I get the 3d printed piece for the usbc?
I have all the pieces for this building, including the donor GBA how much would you charge to put it together for me?

@@PghGameFix Yeah the rattle is what I was curious about! Many thanks!

@@PghGameFix sweet! Thanks so much!
Hi! can it still charge while using the gameboy?
yes... this conversion should still work the same. BUT... it won't charge as fast since the GBA will be using some of the power.
@@PghGameFix what diode did you use in this?
@@markkevinpaz3377 It was supplied with the kit... but it was just a generic, low amp switching diode.

Sorry... but the placement is up to youtube.
