I do like an old station. That was a nice ride. The goats are strange but really cool. I'm sure at least one will get featured. I had sent a couple in and aparantly "I didn't get the concept" but It was the best photo ive ever taken. Technically brilliant, even with the bus time table in behind. Can't please him. I wonder if he will use the others I sent in. I liked the train, not that I'm a spotter!

Yep, I enjoyed that, Isn't it typical, all the vids of yours that iv'e watched and almost completely traffic free yet as soon as you wanted to stop in front of the ruin..... 😅 I love the web of little streets in that village, so quaint. I'd have been VERY tempted by those steps at 11.59 though.... my bad! 😁 What a stunning view up by the goats, that looked breathtaking on camera so it must be doubly so in real life. Nice one, maybe you missed a trick with a Spanish bus stop though, perhaps you don't have them? 🤣🤣 All the best to you and Ruby 👍

Hi Gary, rats leave an oily scent trail which can last beyond two years, if over timber the oily trail can be seen. Has been in my mind to spray diesel around the building to upset the rat trail, could work and likely other products able to be used, the Internet could be worth a search. Love all your vids. Hi Chris, thanks for that ! Well my garage neighbour has a leaky, oily, diesel tractor in his garage and that doesn't seem to have put them off 😂 Thanks for the suggestion. It is pretty annoying because the other rats were wandering into the traps at the rate of one or two per day. I genuinely believe that this is the last remaining rat and most likely the one that narrowly escaped the trap a while back. Rats are not stupid and I'm pretty sure that he is going to go nowhere near the trap now, so that does make things a bit trickier. I think that it's probably time to look at more "serious" solutions, maybe buy a product or two to get the job "done" ( if you know what I mean 😱 ). My patience is definitely running out ! I've been fortunate so far in that as much as they seem to enjoy traversing the garage by hopping from bike to bike, they don't seem interested in chewing anything made by Royal Enfield 🤞So no damage so far, as far as I can see at least ! Thanks again for your suggestion Chris and yes, I should probably get on the internet and see what my options are 👍🏻 Ruby did suggest getting a cat for her to chase but then I pointed out that it really needed to be locked in the garage to be effective. She concurred and said that sounds like a great idea too because she doesn't like cats anyway ! 🤷♂But no. No cruelty to cats on this channel. So that's it then, I get off the ferry and ride straight down to Almeria so I can spend the whole trip down there...... because the list of sights for me to take in just gets longer aaaalll the time! 😅 Having seen the railway memorabilia I had to look it up on my magic map, and suffice to say it'll be on my itinerary. On a practical note, I know you covered your battery replacement a couple of videos ago, but I replaced Blizzard's battery this week, and it's really not the nightmare job I'd been led to expect. Hi Martin, good news about the battery on the Himalayan because I am still thinking of replacing my RE one before it has a chance to die on me ! Saddlebags73 reckoned that it was a bit of a sod to get in and out but clearly you must have found a better way. Remind me to ask you how you did it when you are over here 👍🏻 My guess is that it involves a combination of access from under the seat combined with access from under the side panel and much wiggling and jiggling 😂 Yes. You should definitely just head straight for Almería and book a week in Mojácar Martin 😂 I'll join you and we can go out and play on bikes all day 👍🏻 The beauty of it is Martin, between Mojácar and here lie pretty much all of the roads and a lot of the trails that I ride in my videos. So any trip over to these parts and back will inevitably be a pleasant one. We need to make plans for when you get here. I will be in touch via email 👍🏻 Can't wait to see Chloe in the sidecar. Hi Roger, I'm currently using Filmora on a Mac and it has some very annoying bugs at times. But when you luck into a stable version it's very good. I imagine that the Windows version is likely to be a bit more reliable. Unfortunately they keep updating it and every time they do, they seem to re-introduce bugs which they had fixed previously. The transition I used here is called "Evaporate". You can try it for free and see how you get on. The user interface is less intuitive than in the earlier, simpler versions but it is quite easy to get up and running with it, even now. Because of the bugs I am contemplating switching to Final Cut Pro but a) it's expensive and b) hard to master. Because of my perennial lack of time, I'll probably stick with Filmora for now and just swear a lot every time it moves my clips around for no apparent reason 😂 Give it a go. The Windows version is likely to be more mature, I would imagine. Cheers Roger, Garry

Thanks for the suggestion. It is pretty annoying because the other rats were wandering into the traps at the rate of one or two per day. I genuinely believe that this is the last remaining rat and most likely the one that narrowly escaped the trap a while back. Rats are not stupid and I'm pretty sure that he is going to go nowhere near the trap now, so that does make things a bit trickier.
I think that it's probably time to look at more "serious" solutions, maybe buy a product or two to get the job "done" ( if you know what I mean 😱 ).
My patience is definitely running out !
I've been fortunate so far in that as much as they seem to enjoy traversing the garage by hopping from bike to bike, they don't seem interested in chewing anything made by Royal Enfield 🤞So no damage so far, as far as I can see at least !
Thanks again for your suggestion Chris and yes, I should probably get on the internet and see what my options are 👍🏻 Ruby did suggest getting a cat for her to chase but then I pointed out that it really needed to be locked in the garage to be effective. She concurred and said that sounds like a great idea too because she doesn't like cats anyway ! 🤷♂But no. No cruelty to cats on this channel.

Having seen the railway memorabilia I had to look it up on my magic map, and suffice to say it'll be on my itinerary.
On a practical note, I know you covered your battery replacement a couple of videos ago, but I replaced Blizzard's battery this week, and it's really not the nightmare job I'd been led to expect.

Remind me to ask you how you did it when you are over here 👍🏻 My guess is that it involves a combination of access from under the seat combined with access from under the side panel and much wiggling and jiggling 😂

The beauty of it is Martin, between Mojácar and here lie pretty much all of the roads and a lot of the trails that I ride in my videos. So any trip over to these parts and back will inevitably be a pleasant one.

Admittedly I only manage to ride once per week but I have been doing so here for 18 years now and STILL haven't tried every squiggly little line on the map. So yes, it's likely that you'll always have something new to enjoy riding, however often you make it down here. And then of course, in the autumn there are the trails, which I am only beginning to scratch the surface of.

I'm currently using Filmora on a Mac and it has some very annoying bugs at times. But when you luck into a stable version it's very good. I imagine that the Windows version is likely to be a bit more reliable. Unfortunately they keep updating it and every time they do, they seem to re-introduce bugs which they had fixed previously.
The transition I used here is called "Evaporate".
You can try it for free and see how you get on.
The user interface is less intuitive than in the earlier, simpler versions but it is quite easy to get up and running with it, even now.
Because of the bugs I am contemplating switching to Final Cut Pro but a) it's expensive and b) hard to master.
Because of my perennial lack of time, I'll probably stick with Filmora for now and just swear a lot every time it moves my clips around for no apparent reason 😂
Give it a go. The Windows version is likely to be more mature, I would imagine.

i get to ride any bike i want inc race , track , custom , cruisers, e.t.c. and do not want a 20 hp bike --- but i still think ' buddy ' in his basic fireball colour is about the best looking bike on youtube ;;;; the station shots are good , as noticed by others already ,, enjoying this ;;; s 73 and e.r, exeter , already have some work to do ,, ruby and zen said ;;;

Yes, I agree. Buddy is absolutely gorgeous as he came from the factory, with zero mods ! Unfortunately I refitted his panniers for reasons of practicality at the weekend, so now he looks a bit more cluttered. But he certainly looks wonderful as he came from the factory.
