I share all things thrift here on my channel to teach you how to go thrifting for your home, family and friends. {I'm not a reseller!} I mostly thrift at Goodwill, yard/garage sales, FB marketplace, antique stores, estate sales and so many other local thrift stores. I believe you can make your home beautiful on a thrifty budget! I will take you on so many thrift with me shopping trips, share my thrift hauls and almost always show you how to use thrift finds in your home. I post every Friday and sometimes on Tuesday. I just read some of the comments from this video. Some people are flat-out rude. I say if you have negative feelings, just keep it to yourself. I do believe we are blessed to be welcomed into Julie's home and thrifting. I appreciate every detail she creates with her own home furnishings. Yes, her own home. People like that I have nothing better to do, but to troll online to look for negative things to say about other people. If this person would walk into my house she would have a heart attack. I’ve got a four square Victorian and it is decorated as a four square Victorian, I’m constantly dusting and cleaning but that’s my choice. I’m not lazy. I also got better things to do than to talk badly about someone else, especially when she is a great homemaker and has a beautiful home and family. I look at it this way if she doesn’t like Julies clutter then she needs to move on. This is not the channel for her. Everyone is not a minimalist. A lot of us like our things like and like to have our things around us. A lot of what we own is passed down from family members. to me, it brings comfort to me, especially when I’m having a bad day . I hope Julie keep doing what she’s doing because I enjoy her channel .

I chuckled when I learned your definition of 'seasonal'! I used to live alone and kept cold weather (which is most of the year here) and warm weather clothing in a separate closet, switching closets as the 'season' dictated! Then, one by one different family members had to move in with me and I had to get REAL creative with cramming all seasons into one room. I'll soon be having a huge 4-day downsizing yard sale, at 73, I no longer covet so many of the things that once held me enthralled.---As always, I can unwind with the music you choose each week.

Love the tool box and what you used it for . I will be looking for one as well . I have a basket with our seasonal shirts in our closet on our shelf . Perfect use and such a beautiful rustic piece to add to the bedroom. Mirror looks pretty with the new look also painted color / touch up.

Love the mirror against the distressed brick look. Undecided on the toolbox on top of the dresser. The dresser itself makes a powerful statement, and the box competes with that.
Beautiful job as always Julie! Also, by removing the handle on the toolbox keeps it from hitting the mirror when you open the lid. Smart move for the dresser top. 😉❤️

Oh girl! That sleigh! That's exactly what I want I'm looking for! I was gifted one if those large electric fireplaces in the big wood case that has the extra shelf & cabinets on both sides. I want to cover the top with cotton or whatever for fake snow & put fairy lights under it, i want a sleigh like that, that size to put in the center with a Santa & his bag. I want to use bottle brush trees & deer.. and make a whole scene! I didn't get to decorate it last year because i got it on Christmas eve! But the deer were so popular last year thats the first thing i thought of for this year! Loll I'll probably never even see a sleigh🥴 The Amber colored chargers were pretty. Loved that little square wood stand too! Ohhh girl that rocker was sooo pretty, broke my heart it was busted! And that price tag😳 If it had been maybe $10 & i knew how to upholster then I'd have snatched it up! Love the mirror.. beautiful before the make over but gorgeous after!❤ OOH MY GOODNESS.. WHATTT?!! I would fall out if I found a piece that awesome!😮 Girl you the jackpot on that antique/primitive toolbox! You know I'm obsessed with anything old & made of wood, that piece is perfect!🥹 Loll I would have ran to the register with it too😄 Wow i can only hope i'd get that lucky! I love where you put it too! And the Pothos plant looks good sitting on it too. I'd say that was A great haul😁 TFS.. and have a great weekend!

I pictured Hershey Kisses Candy. Or candy corn or m& m or kraft caramels or jelly beans or gum drops ( wrapped so they dont stick)or wrapped Christmas candy or just bite size wrapped cookies or miniature candy canes. Or guest soap or a battery string of miniature twinkling lights .
I love glass containers and with matching lids but also open tops. Love hurricane lanterns and glass clochés

Loved those black wrought iron candle holders, if you put the big one in the back and the smaller one in the front you would have your 7 or 8 candle presentation.

Oh my goodness!! I love the toolbox! I have several really old small suitcases from my husbands grandfather. I think I may do something similar in my bedroom! Thanks for sharing. Oh! I braved to Goodwill Bins and found two little sturdy wire baskets. I hung them up in the cabinet next to my stove to put pot holders in. I love it!

I found a beautiful cognac Samsonite suitcase at the thrift years ago, I have it on top of my dresser and use it as my lingerie “drawer”. The straps inside help me keep my stockings in order too.

I’m from the NC foothills. Thrift store shopping has become a disappointing experience in our area. Prices are crazy. The antique malls are worse.

I have a mirror just like that hanging over my piano. It came off of an old dresser that was in my mother-in-laws barn. The dresser fell apart and my husband refinished the frame on the mirror. It is definitely an antique.

I love your style and that old tool box is beautiful! If you ever decide to put the handle back on top you could move the pot to one end of the box and let your plant lay toward the other end. I love plants and old things like you do! We'd have a great time thrifting together!!!
