When watching this last and final episode of AOT....I was sobbing my eyeballs out because of how each scene was so well animated. Emotions that were well expressed from the VA's themselves and literally it still sends me chills everytime. (Want to say more, but I'm still coping with what is happening and how this 10 year masterpiece, has now came to an end. Overall, amazing edit again brought me to tears 😭💜)
I don't get how y'all say stuff like this and think it's facts. Eren is a character of tragedy. we gotta talk about this more. He never chose his friends over humanity. He chose his own definition of freedom, so his own true desires, over everything, even his mother. Like, it was shown clearly many times in the show that he actually wanted this which is why it happened. He said that he shouldn't have been the one that has these powers because he knew what he was gonna do with them. He was basically just a miserable human being that threw a tantrum over the fact that the world outside the walls wasn't exactly like armins books so he desired to trample over everyone to recreate that image in that book. that's why armin said he is also partly at fault and going to hell because he was the one showing that book to him that was one of the main reasons eren got disappointed. that's also literally what eren told ramzi in the flashback during the rumbling. eren had this breakdown and told ramzi he is going to do all this because he just felt so disappointed that the world wasn't like armins book. that was his confession. y'all make him look like this rational selfless character that wanted to save his friends. he literally said himself that he didn't even know if armin and mikasa would've survived because he couldn't see everything. he still proceeded to do what he did. isayama even created this aot paralle world (modern world) in which he shows what eren's nature is. eren dreamed of killing everyone, including his loved ones, saying that the dream felt good. he then proceeded to actually make his dream reality and killed everyone. eren was born evil. he isn't the typical "i sacrifice myself for my friends" person. he obviously loves them but he didn't love them more than the desire he had.
