Nice one Alec. Have you tried Heat Transfer Vinyl for the cheeks? £2.85 for a A4 sheet and the colours are excellent.

Yes, it comes flat and I take a steel Ruler and a sharp blade and cut strips off. You can make the strips whatever size you want. The material comes with a backing that once you have cut it to size, you can just peel it off if you want. You can buy it off ebay, I think you might find it useful 😉
