Parkour Generations is beautiful! I love it, not just because of amazing feats, but because the symbolism of leaping over the urban barriers resonates with all of us.
even though i have never done parkour.I can somehow feel what parkour is like when im watching it.Its a sense of freedom and invincibility and that you cant be touched.I want to feel that and learn parkour so bad.
Very nice! The most sophisticated urban athletes I've ever seen. Their moves are so smooth and effortless, they're like...city ninjas styling in suits! Amazing! ^_^
Yes, it is. Parkour is the efficient way of coming from point A to point B. And it's the creative art of movement. Parkour Generations is one of the clearest and technically best Traceurs I've seen.
this is really inspirational. I am a vault sort of guy and this has showe me how i can combo kong vault to dash vault to cat to 180 cat back to kong vault this is simply brillant. Thank you
kooool this is an awesome vid! Everytime i watch a vid on their channel, it encourages me to get serious about practicing parkour more and more... Hopefully in the summer, i can start some serious training!
DAMN that is by far the best parkour video I've ever seen. Whenever I see one of these videos it makes me wanna run into the city and try it lol. I would probably break my head open during the first try tho :P .
You're absolutely right, people use parkour and freerunning interchangeably, however they are different. As you pointed out parkour is to get from one point to another efficiently. If that means running in a one long straight line, so be it. Freerunning is more for show and style.
I just love the controversy in this video... Two opposites put together in one juicy, city-life video. Even without the spectacular acts this video should be able to win a prize. I love the idea. It's so simple but yet so well-considered. My only concern is that the biggest part of the audience will watch it for the 'parkour'-part. If you get chosen by the YT awards, I'll vote. Greetings, Edhilthoniel
i agree with u i live in a small town an dits ok for parkour/free running but when i went to salt lake for a vacation with my family it was like parkour heaven it was great i had so much fun there
i used to go to school this way, i remember i was always standing with friends on a location and when we left for school i arrived earlier than some friends on their bicycles.
well, the fact of the matter is that there is such an activity where one trains to get to a destination as quickly as possible and activity where you do whatever. It's just a general concensus that the former is called Parkour and the latter is called freerunning.
To reply to tosterlamp: you could say that about anything. Basketball for example. 'All they do is run back and forth and throw a ball around.' Or UA-cam: all you do is watch videos and then comment and then get mad when people disagree with you.' If you take that outlook on life, there's not much point in anything. in conclusion, parkour is awesome.
Parkour Generations will be in New York on the 14th Feb. holding an open training day. Check out the news page on parkourgenerations (dot) com for more info.
no its not :( Parkour does not involve flips or rotations it is completely about efficiency and practicality (not sure if thats a word :P) while free running is as they say freedom of movement - being able to use your body to move in incredible ways (flips etc)
Why thank you =o And you are right, I get those somewhat mixed since I never have to keep them straight in my city (only a few who practice either). I always say what you said about the Parkour vision
Yeah it does! oh if u wanna learn look for open gyms around where u live, find people who train in parkour or look at videos on youtube like i did, i say the easyest vault is the lazy vault and the 2 hand vault, look them up and try them out ^^
Life in the fast lane! Love the tune. Groovy video. You guys may want to think about putting some kind of story to this. Maybe some crazy event that leads to a chase scene. keep going with it.
does anyone know were the parts at 2.21 were filmed i would really like to visit there to train and the video was great movement was a great level on level with some of the best peace love and respect x
i think that parkour has changed a bit when i first watched it people were trying to get somewhere and now they do the same line over and over but that is just me and i personaly dont think its a bad thing its just more diffrent which i like, yeah you can do the same line a couple of time but not over and over, but still PROPS TO PARKOUR still love it
Parkour is about having fun! n doing cool stuff, doesnt matter that much who is the best as long as you get a kick out of it. N none of those guys were bad so stop hating
I remember how I saw it for the 1st time)) thank you! Greetings from 2019!
Great song and fit men in suits doing some impressive stuff.... No wonder I keep coming back to this one!
Parkour Generations is beautiful! I love it, not just because of amazing feats, but because the symbolism of leaping over the urban barriers resonates with all of us.
amasing stuff, the fact that it wasn't edited just goes to show the fact that they do not mess up. Kudos to you, gents
The video, the music, the idea....... just wonderful
Suits and parkour, a couple of my favorite things in one video. Awesome.
I like the way this video was made, very stylised, the music adds a edge to this production too.
A fine example of what parkour is about. No tricking, just pure efficiency.well done :)
The track is called Butterfly Dub (Protassov & Kinski remix) by Protassov. Full listings in the credits of the film.
amasing stuff, the fact that it wasnt edited just goes to sho the fact that they do not mess up. Kudos to you, gents!
Your fluidity is just incredible, it really shows that you guys have been doing it longer than anyone else
even though i have never done parkour.I can somehow feel what parkour is like when im watching it.Its a sense of freedom and invincibility and that you cant be touched.I want to feel that and learn parkour so bad.

Really well done, only a few difficult parkour tricks, but definitely the prettiest filming I've ever seen in a parkour vid. Great job.

Best of her films I've seen so far.
Yes, it is.
Parkour is the efficient way of coming from point A to point B. And it's the creative art of movement.

DAMN that is by far the best parkour video I've ever seen. Whenever I see one of these videos it makes me wanna run into the city and try it lol. I would probably break my head open during the first try tho :P .
I'm a starter-off for parkour. Ty for the terrain ideas.
Protassov Rules!

This videos got style and class, and so do the guys! Great job!
You're absolutely right, people use parkour and freerunning interchangeably, however they are different. As you pointed out parkour is to get from one point to another efficiently. If that means running in a one long straight line, so be it. Freerunning is more for show and style.
i liked the soundtrack alot, it was mellow, almost as if it contradicted the mood, but it still worked, great.
those camera angles were really good
nice...clean cut and professional
good work
It was this exact video that got me into Parkour. Great Video.
nice work! very stylish and loving the music.
love the song, wish i could find a copy of it somewhere

Edhilthoniel
one of my favorite pk vids.
looks simple but it's actually not, this is why i love watching parkour moves. favorited!
good moves and great camera angles. nice job!
Because its more fun. Also, because it is a great and creative way to stay in shape.
That's parkour with elegance! XD
Great video!
I like this. some videos are there, they call it Parkour, but it's only doing stunts on the street. My favourite is the extreme game of tag.
BAD ASS!!! THAT WAS AMAZING

Haha, nice! CAN on the other hand is just about heading into summer. I'll have to wait a few months.

Butterfly Dub (Protassov & Kinski Remix) by Protassov
google switchstance recordings
That's how I see it... seeing the obstacles, and the numerous ways to overcome them.
feels like i saw some of those places in Banilieu 13. That's what got me interested in parkour.
very very nice :D:D:D
I love that style of Parkour
Excellent camera work and nice views of London. Oh, and great skill too :)
i agree with u i live in a small town an dits ok for parkour/free running but when i went to salt lake for a vacation with my family it was like parkour heaven it was great i had so much fun there
wow it saved me 30 secs from my everyday travel!!!
just bloody amazing
What can 882 people possibly dislike about this?
yes. they are doin good as many others. but their vid's quality and its essencial is good too. and the music is perfect for this. great video:D
I agree with wolfang. Very stylized, something most parkour clips lack. Not the best parkour moves, but the best production I've seen.
Revolutionary.
Very nice guys.
That was a really well done video guys!
i used to go to school this way, i remember i was always standing with friends on a location and when we left for school i arrived earlier than some friends on their bicycles.
