I've played consoles my entire life, got into modding FO4 on xbox a couple years ago and wanted to try this since. Watched Screaming Lake's video and yours.... used Steam, Nexus, and Wabajack all for the first time today and got it all running and excited to try finally! I'm sure this is basic for most, but thank you very much! I got the xbox controller plugged in because I'm still not good with keyboard and mouse but hey I've made it this far lmfaoo thanks man

I bin playing this for 2 weeks now and its a blast. I do have a question, if for example I wanted to play later on, The hole mod pack of for example ground zero. Is there a way I don't have to remove all the mods I installed for stalker? What took a lot of slow download klicks lol.
Or is there no other way of doing that? So I can play the mod pack like its suppose to be played, whit the combo of mods put together by the creator's.
I was having problems beforehand till I found your video, and ow man did you made it look simple and easy to do.
When you select the profile in MO2 it will automatically select only the mods related to the mod pack. No problem at all. Thanks for the comment.

How much does the mod pack weigh?
There is a step by step guide I have linked that shows you how to install on one drive. It’s about 90gb in total
I can't seem to uncap the framerate. I've adjusted the ini files. iPresentInterval is set to 0 and enb is uncapped. Still stuck at 60fps. Can't seem to find an answer anywhere.

The ENB profile is just the look of the game and the menu settings at the start are gameplay changes. Stalker one has a different healing system is one of the main changes but there are loads.

Your video was extremely helpful thank you for making this. I have only one issue and its that it seems like very animal from the mutant menagerie has no collision with the terrain. They all clip through the ground. I haven't seen anyone else have this problem so if anyone has a fix I would very much appreciate one, thanks!
Thank you for the comment. I’m not sure of that issue. It might be solved by restarting the game or try copying the mod files into the Fallout folder again. Something small may have been corrupted. Or try disabling and enabling the mutant menagerie mod on MO2
Sorry for the noob question but Ive never really downloaded mods before. Do i need some kind of mod launcher or organiser set up before i takle this mod list or will it all be handled with wabbajack?
No problem at all. Ask as many questions as you want. If you follow the steps in the video it will sort out everything for you. The organizer is called MO2 or Modorganizer2.
hey mate nice video, but i have one question. Im downloading the Mods since yesterday, and i have the feeling that this Wabbajack is downloading the same mods over and over again. For example multiple winter valley mods with the same gb size. I doubt that these are different Mods. Can you recommend me what to do ?
Do you see the counter in the top left of wabbajack going up?

There are two counters one is 7/14 and it stayed like that and was not changing, and the other one is changing all the time, the second one is like 54/59 now and it looked like that its work, but after finishing this counter, the next counter will come for example ?/70
@@Tamakti-Jun are you going through nexus and downloading each mod? The counter should have 376 mods or so. When you click the Lost world mod pack in wabbajack it should bring you too nexus and if you don’t have premium you need to download all of them separately
my only question is does the ammo counter go away in the bottom right when you reload the game or am i just goofing

Is lost world already deleted? I had wabbajack downloading all the mods and it stopped when there were only two left. I restarted wabbajack and now lost world is not among the modlists! Was I a day late?

Thank you for the tutorial. I ran into a problem, my steam is not installed on the C drive or a protected drive but the Wabbajack installer says it cant find the fallout 4 game, please if anyone can help that would be amazing 🙏🏽

You don’t need to install it. It will be in the Lost World folder after Wabajack finishes installing mods

@@agahpito902 you can alter it but make sure you remember what you add. I added the lean mod and started falling through the map. This mod list is tested but it’s not tested with other mods.

Hi! So, is it possible to mod mod pack? I just want to expand weapons, but every time when i install one other mod - ghouls spawn brokes. So can you advice how to install other mods to lost world?
It’s not advised to add mods to the pack as any other mod that’s added has not being tested so there is a chance it may break the game.
Hello, just a quick question. I already installed 300+ mods. Do I need to clean and uninstall my existing mods in order to play the wabbajack mod list particularly the lost world? I mean I truly want to try and play it but just afraid it will conflict with my current mods. Unless the only way is to uninstall all of my current mods, definitely gonna be a long story for me. 😅
Yes it is important not to have any other mods active. The reason the mod pack was created is because all mods are tested and any mods in the pack will not conflict. I tried out a few extra mods and had issues

@@TheAlphaFox Yes MO2 is convenient.. But the sad part is am using vortex.. I didn't know about MO2 exist until much later when I installed 200+ mods at the time.. To switch organiser can be tedious yes?

I just have 1 default C drive on my laptop. No other one like E or D. How can i install this with just 1 C file?
I only have one SSD and do not really wanna put it on my HDD because I feel like it will run slow. How do you do this if you only have one drive?
There is a detailed guide in the official guide I have linked in description that explains installing FO if you have one drive. You need to partition space on your hard drive so it reads as a separate drive.

You have to have all the DLC installed as well or it won’t work

when i try to download and it opens the nexus page it just opens up the website, there is no download button?
So yeah... i did this using my only 1 drive i have. Followed step by step except moving fallout out of my steam library and guess what? It works and running well. No crashes.
Does anyone else have the problem of the MCM not showing up in the main menu ??
Everything is working fine- but I can't finish the last step since MCM menu is missing.

My issue right now is that after I create my face for my character it is not loading up the stats page and the story just begins. I can do the stats when the guy comes to the door but I quit after that because it didn't skip me to the vault exit.
I’ll look into your issue and get back with a solution. Worst case you can respec your character at the first subway station trader.
Have you tried re copying the files from the game folder?

@@TheAlphaFox Good news! I got it to work. I had tried doing a new game but that didn't do it. I had to close the game, reload it, and then restart a new game and then it worked. Had been enjoying the mod so I forgot to come back here and say so, my bad. Seems yeah that for some folks they might need to load the game, close it, reload then start a new game for it to work.

What resolution is it launching in?

@@chinafriedpanda4 try starting the game from stream and check the settings in the fallout 4 launcher.
@@TheAlphaFox I fixed it! I had to re launch the original fallout 4 vanilla and reset the resolution there, then run the mod.

You can run other mods but some mods may conflict with others.
I did not realize you need the dlc for this mod to work.
Yeah it’s mentioned in the official guide. I would say most of the mods will work but it’s been fully tested with the DLC.

Truth be told, it was complicated from the start especially configuration and such. Perhaps I overdid something, plus it was also a bunch of reinstall and uninstall. It’s great now, but hopefully there is a simpler step for the Steam Deck (and may as well call it Steam Deck Edition).
Im getting "Unfortunately an error occurred while downloading this file. Please try again later or contact support" when I am trying to slow download a mod through nexus. How do I fix this? I tried to close it out but when I jump back in it makes me download every single file again and it happens randomly.
I figured it out, just had to click into the home page so it verified me and then I clicked the back button

im misunderstanding these directions from the start> how do i install fallout on a different drive when i only have a C drive with windows 11 installed on it
It means if you have a secondary hard drive installed in your pc, that’s the one you install it on. If you only have one there is info on the official guide in using one drive.

Try pressing alt and enter on the keyboard…

Xbox gamepass can have issues when modding or some games dont allow for modding at all.

Yes you can.
when i followed your walkthrough instead of the mods installing in individual files, they all just downloaded into one folder (aka downloads folder).

@@manuelbartoli2772 yes, this mod pack is not compatible with the building element of the game. It’s a design choice. There are safe houses across the map that you should use for resting

@@manuelbartoli2772 you can add any mod you want. It’s just all mods in the pack have been tested and will work. Conflict could happen with mods that are not part of the pack

Sadly no. All has to be done manually without premium.
for some reason when I launch the game and load my save file back it says "F4SE is NOT detected! Mod will not be started." as soon as I get in game... I launched the game with Mod Organizer 2 just like you did with the F4SE dropdown selected. Do I have to install F4SE or is MOD orgnanizer already includes this by default?
Somethings also off if I play in that state, I shoot bullet but they have no impact and I cannot damage anything so, that must be related to this. Anyone lend a hand please?
It seems to be a prompt sent by a mod not detecting F4SE... the mod is Immersive Animation Framework.
I dont think that mod is what causing shooting my gun to do no damage or not show impact when I shoot at the floor. I updated f4SE and nada.

Did you select a different folder when you clicked download again? If you had all the files downloaded they should all be there when you open up lost world mod pack in Wabajack.

You can install other mods but just be carful because some other mods conflict
A BILLION EXTRA STEPS not included in the basic instructions. Who would have thought? Christ lone guys like you on youtube really save it sometimes. I hope I can get it working, I wasn't going to even bother trying without a video from someone else as modders always miss out integral parts of install instructions.

Why not install on the windows drive? In my case I only have one 2TB drive... I'm rly not gonna start formatting and then make partitions just to be able to install this :D If that even matters.
You can try but installing it on the route drive but it will cause issues.

Anyways if you give tutorials like this, don't let ppl brainlessly copy you. You have to let them know why you do certain things.
@@Xili84 I mention in the first 30 seconds of the video that there is a guide over on the official website. That guide also gives details on how you can install the game on the same drive. The problem is a Windows drive will cause issues because of file protection and read/write access to the files. I can understand it’s not ideal but that’s the way the modders recommend after they put endless hours of testing in.
