Grounded Gameplay of the new Grounded Update by Paraly5er but not with Sir Sim-Alot or JADECRAFT, there's also no Blitz Grounded or Jade PG, oh and no ImCade or Fynnpire either, certainly no Mediocre Milton, Obsidian Entertainment made the Grounded New Update!

You can dupe Grass planks and stem planks. With another player in the lobby just have them fill their arms with a stack, they leave (not as a host) and rejoin. The stacks they had will drop and when they come back in they'll have another full stack in their hands. Rince, repeat.

Myth:throwing a weed stem at a bug hurts them more than a grass plank
That would make sense
I’ll test it out and tell yall
So at ng+ 20 it stops being a survival game 😂
And becomes a fighting game 😂
Myth: If you cook food then go into ng+ will the food be instantly cooked or keep cooking
Myth: You can peep the Mant through mansterious stranger.Same goes with spiderlings from mom genes
Hey Para, dont know if you have it already:
Increasing loot luck can lower the amount of infused weapons you get from a boss in ng+4 and above.
To replicate: Get the lucky hat, a weapon and a trinket with loot luck. Safe after you killed a boss. loot him once with max loot luck and then do it again always removing 1 peace of loot luck.
I had cases where max loot luck would give me infused club + 1 dagger from the broodmother but with just 2 times loot luck I would get 3 daggers and the club.
I remember about a week ago I was in a Custom game where there were bugs and they ignored me. I found out that an Aphid and a Scarab were running side by side, but they were scared of each other! You should test this in case.
I LOVE Grounded, so here's a myth: standing targets cannot be broken by you or bugs.
Myth: Smashing Damage from creatures isn’t the same as Busting Damage from tools, meaning creatures can’t destroy things like candies and pinecones and other things that require busting to destroy.
False, creatures can break this stuff. Ladybirds break upgrade rocks all the time
Apparently if you hit the throw button and relocate button at the same time while hovered over an object you can relocate, your character will be stuck in a certain form depending on the weapon of the throw animation, and you can run around like that. Dagger is the tricky one to do with timing.
Myth:storing ant eggs in a fresh storage or whatever its called slows their hatch time
Nope, tested this before

Paralyser can you make a guide to the effects in the game, effects that you can get from food, from smoothies, effects that are given from trinkets, that are given by bosses. There may be some mechanics that are hard to notice, I recently learned that you can't have multiple buffs from different foods at the same time. Can you talk about how the “new” effects from NG+ trinkets work, what percentages they give, what combinations are very good and what combinations are bad, while seeming good. It's really hard to figure out what effects exist and what effects you can find, especially in NG+. This topic is very important, picking the right effects and buffs increases damage many times over

Myth: If you repair around Dr Tully with the Ant Queen Repair Tool Dr Tully makes sounds of being hit/damaged while repairing.
myth: if you land from a height on a tellepotty does it cancel fall damage?
Myth: science waffles float in water but science cones sink in water
Myth: summon thorns gives stacks of lil fist (the damage type of both are true)
The Golden Card thing actually scales over NG+. I’ve noticed that gold cards, while not guaranteed, are still much more common in NG+ 1, 2, 3, and 4, so it must be a scaling thing with gold card drops
Does fresh defence help against the ng+ burn effect
Can antlions take dot damage while underground.
Does spicy safety help against cactus damage
Is cactus damage affected by armour
Can mouldy blaster dig up treasure
Broodmother still venom on scream in ng+
Has everyone watching the vid liked and subbed
If you kill a passive with the damage from the spicy or Salty charm will they be cooked or jerky
Can you harvest rescources faster with a candy trinket
Myth-the reason you did more damage with more planks was becuase with this you ran with momentum while with one you stood still
Not true, you can hear multiple planks hitting the orb weaver in the video, running doesn't increase damage
Myth: The Mantis can one shot you with it's basic swipe attack in Woah! mode if you don't block with any full boss set equipped. (All milk molars and fully upgraded armour)
The damage from thrown planks or stems has a limit/diminishing return. I believe it's around 8-10 before the damage caps out and any others thrown will only deal the same damage as throwing one.
I’m pretty sure when you throw planks they don’t throw in unison and so not all planks hit

Myth, by changing directions on a zipline you cancel out damage taken from landing. I have used this for about a year now, so go share it with the world.

Correct, also the myth is true, we've tested in before
Myth: loot luck buffs help you steal better/rarer items
Myth: loot luck will help you get gold card
Loot luck doesn't effect gold cards. Also don't think it effects stealing either.
@@Paraly5er once I was fighting the broodmother with no loot luck and I stole 2 chunks from her. Then I fought her with loot luck and stole 2 trinkets
Myth: Black ox beetles can break rocks if they attack next to them

7:11 salt weapon jerkies food and fire weapons cook, so can you steal cooked food that way?
Nope, tested this in the past
Love that last one. Ive killed well over 2k spiderlings and have yet to get the gold card
myth : i dont know if its in a vid or anything but if you make the weapon with tiger mosquito upgrade it to salty you can get water flea/tadpole jerky but you cant with daggers

Wow, I don't know how to feel about this gold card thing: on the one hand, it's awesome you can get guaranteed gold cards on NG+5 and I absolutely approve. On the other hand.... how many hours did I waste trying to get gold cards before NG+ because farming enemies is faster when they have less health!!! Feel like I'm gonna go crazy

Yeah it's strange, I tested it a bunch and got golds everytime but have heard some say that they rarely don't get one. So it's close to guaranteed but I can understand the frustration in the original comment, would have been nice to be told about the feature

Yeah this is a bug that I have reported. It's really annoying, even just exiting the handy gnat makes them dissapear
I believe that each NG+ gives +20% had a higher Gold Card chance.
I don't think so, otherwise you'd get golds almost every time in ng+4 which isn't the case

Of course I learn about the guaranteed gold card at NG+ 5 literally 10 hours AFTER I just finished grinding all gold cards 😭

@@Paraly5er so, wasp queen summons wasps, you can loot them but dont give you items i was asking if they count towards kill
counts and if your able to get gold cards from them

You can get to the top of the tree I’m not sure if there is a barrier anywhere there though

Well now that I know getting gold cards is guaranteed in NG+5, maybe I'll try to get to it so I can finally get the IBM gold cards, since I kicked her ass 30 times in original game and still didn't get it.

Yes, ladybird larva will come in larva raids once the assistant manager has been defeated.

By the time you get to NG+ 5 it would be 100%
It definitely increases the odds but don't think it's 20%. Think it's more like multiplying the odds each ng+. So 1% normally then 2% then 4% etc. but I don't know the exact multiplier

The parents don't actually give birth to the orb weaver juniors. So no

That's a great question, my guess is yes you would loose hunger and thirst but hopefully he answers this is the next mythbuster!
Yes you always do sadly, but you only lose it to a certain point when sleeping so you'd never be starving or thirst afaik

I just killed a green shield bug on NG+ 6 and it didn’t give me my missing gold card? Is there something I’m missing here?
It didn't work for me on ng5 Xbox so maybe it only works for PC

From what I have heard it isn't fully guaranteed but is very close. It's crazy because i got like 10 golds in a row so it's an extremely high chance to get one.
@@Paraly5er I did notice that certain bugs give Gold cards instantly and others take a few times killing to receive it

I get that. I was pissed when after getting all of them they changed the requirement. But this is the first incentive I've heard to progress past NG+4. I kinda think it's cool they put it in.

The gold card one is great and all especially if you don’t have trapper peeper (for what ever reason) but it takes away the the accomplishment for grinding out all gold cards (for me at least)
