- the women in this movie were TOP TIER! don't get me wrong, nick was a king and we stan, but there were so many questionable men in this movie 🤣 I truly had so so much fun with this one and.... surprise, surprise, I cried.... also MAGNUS APPEARED! who would've thought!? 🩶

I really love the scene where Rachel and Nick's mom played Mahjong together. It's the way Rachel told his mom to be grateful to her in the future because she rejected Nick's proposal. Also, I love when Astrid said to her ex "It was never my job to make you feel like a man. I can't make you something you're not.", she slayed so hard.
I recently learned how to play Mahjong with friends and acted like Rachel when she flipped cards, and it was so satisfying.
Exactly what I was going to say about that Mahjong game. Epic mic drop moment.
those are two of my favorite scenes throughout the movie! they are such badass moments that I find myself wanting to rewatch all the time! 🩶
19:44 everyone so shocked about nick and amanda, but if you look at that scene where they googling Rachel in the beginning, there's a text that said does Amanda know

End credit scene is supposed to be preview for the second movie but its been 5 years already
ahhhh this makes so much sense! I wish we had a second movie, this was so so good! 🩶
The thing is, the movie is very different from the book, so I guess the writers of the screenplay may have had a really hard time adapting the second book to follow the movie.

This movie is actually one of my favorites of all times
This is one of my favourite movies. I hope we get a Part II. I was going through a break-up when I watched this movie. I cried when Astrid discovers the cheating and all the other scenes with her there after. Her speech to that loser husband was golden (I was like , Yes, YES, YES in the theatre) 🙂 And the wedding scene with that song, OMG...😭. The mahjong game...that scene, priceless.
I honestly can't believe this was something I hadn't seen before considering I loved it so much! it's totally my kind of film and really hit me with all the emotions! 🩶
