I take it the Chicago car does not have the correct door arrangement of including the third door in the middle? Also, most overhead trolley poles don't spark unless the wire is very dirty or from broken hangers and or poor maintained wire tension.
I would love to get the NJ Transit one as north Jersey is where I live. I'm just afraid that the model might be too accurate to NJT and will take forever to arrive!
@@Ih8kone , I used to work on them at Geneva Car Barn from 1975 until they were retired in 1982. I would occasionally have to take them out for road tests. The cars didn't have air horns. We only had gongs.
San Diego still has one up and running.... it sits by the siding near the Convention Center (if you're ever in town, and want to see it in person) and sometimes they put it on the line for special events.
That's a pity. I have a couple of your Peter Witt cars and they happily go round 8" radius,. Your Bachmann Peter Witts are very well designed and built models, and I'm very happy with them. See one running around 8 and 10 in radius at: ua-cam.com/video/5glFF-j1p2o/v-deo.html if you wish.
Will you ever bring back the Acela Express with DCC and sound? I just got into model railroading, and I can’t get one anywhere.
The fact that you could technically make an njt hb light rail in ho scale is amazing..
Does this model also have an air whistle sound like the prototype?

Is it possible to change or add custom sounds?
What's the exact track gauge distance between the rollers? It should be 16.5 mm for HO scale.

Ha, ha. Bachmann has it in stock and ready to go.
Any chance you have any MTH NJ Transit models for sale?
Loving this... though... more workbench videos, maybe?
This trolley should also be equipped with an air horn, as all of the PCCs are equipped with air horns.
San Francisco's PCCs didn't have horns
@@L-Taraval Yes they did. It's the law.

@@L-Taraval Weird. You would think that it would be against code.
That look like those old school 1930's and 1940's San Diego Transit (MTS)!

I know I've seen them they have 7!!! 5 restored and 2 on service Downtown loop
FANTASTIC! I've only ever seen the one...
Trolley poles spark when either they or overhead wire components such as hangers are either defective or needing adjutment!
Will this run without a dcc controller?
Eddie McCann yes
Since this a model of a Trolley, presumably it will go around a typical 5" radius model trolley track curve with no problem?
Nope. It is a two truck trolley and will require at least a 15' radius curve.

Love my Bachmann Spectrum trains my G scale 2 truck shay and my HO DDA 40 X great models.
I forgot there was a factory in Philly.
huh I have a Life like GP-38-2 but it broke I am trying to fix it
Why isn't there a Toronto transit one?
We can only offer so many names to start. You never know what will show up down the track.
Hello Again Guys It's Your Buddy Greg Lmao train puns.
It's pretty good.
What? No TTC?
Can you run an isl
Overhead wire?
No.
The white windows and passenger silhouettes ruin a nice model. Just flushed glazed windows with a hazy finish would have been perfect.
