I totally understand about compromising for your pets (and humans you share your space with, of course). I tend to keep my own possessions to a minimum but I have lots of things for my 3 cats. Toys, 2 scratching posts, 2 cat carriers, 4 cat trees, 4 litter boxes, 7 beds, assorted food and drink dishes, and more. I'd have a lot less stuff if I didn't have my cats but I'd also have a lot less joy and love. And the joy and love are definitely worth it!
Absolutely worth it! I had to pick between owning a couch or keeping the space for my pet rats, their food, their toys, their snacks, carrier, holiday cage, blankets, etc. Guests sit on chairs and love giving snacks to the little ones. Everybody wins.
My mugs have spoons that came with them cause they are soup mugs...lol 😆 🍲 🥣🥄 But actually, I have a collection of USA State tea spoons from each one I go see. My bucket 🪣 list 📄 is to see all 50 states by age 50 or at least before I die.
I guess I’m an odd ball. I have always kept medication in the kitchen. Only thing I keep in the bathroom is things to clean and bandage cuts and scraps
I have a question about medicine storage. I keep my daily morning prescription pills in my bathroom, because that is where I go first in the morning and I take them there. Give that I cycle through these monthly I imagine it's not as much of an issue? Non-daily items are not kept in a bathroom.
Clean after every use, do some research on toy-specific cleaners for the materials you prefer. Depending on your collection, you may want to store them in individual bags, dust collection bags or small garment bags for the wash. Keeps them clean and free from bits that can float around in drawers (stray hairs, fibers, strings lint, etc).
That's crazy about medication! I'm so chronically ill and kept my medications either everywhere or in an unseen corner, so i recently changed to a little cart of them in my living room and that's the only thing that works for me! I even keep my dailies at the top in AM / PM bins which has helped sooo much
I love your lack of judgment and how low key you were about vermin etc. I had a highly stressful and traumatic couple of years with a medically fragile child and a cleaner helped me. I felt so much shame when we found a mummified mouse. I will never forget her kindness and acceptance.
Life happens. The world would be a better place if we all accepted our own humanity. We’re all just trying to get through the day 🤷🏽♀️ I hope you’re doing better ❤️
That was entertaining, here's a question do you have a favorite organizing show that is on tv I used to love clean sweep on TLC, love the glasses Kay they look great on you !
Loved the Q & A. When organizing a pantry, how would I keep the nutritional information and cooking instructions for an item if the contents are placed in an air tight container?
The person that mentioned the newspapers reminded me that When I was in college we had a basketball tournament in another city, so my friends and I had a hotel room. There were a lot of other college kids in the hotel and the ones next to us were having a big party and being loud and getting in trouble with the police. I kept our hotel room really tidy. My friends were drinking a little bit but I didn’t drink at all. The police officer knocked on our door and saw how clean our room was and said “well I see there’s no problem here!“. When my house is nice and clean and tidy, I am more likely to keep it that way, but I’m not perfect by any means!
15:48 oh my meds are inside the linen closet ✔
But the linen closet is inside the bathroom 🤦🏻♀️🙈
My coffee always has a spoon inside the cup. Your vlogs are so helpful.
I get the spoon in the coffee. Some times it just needs a stir or grip a finger!
Mine too!
"marital aid collection" has me DYING 🤣 another great video Kay!
It took me a second to figure out what she meant 😂😂
Really fun and Interesting session. Good advice also for those who want to go into the field of Professional Organiser. 🌞

Did your wig client have names for all her wigs like Moira from Schitt’s Creek did? She so loved all her bébes 😄
Ew, David!
My question would be, when is it time to hire a professional vs when you should just do it yourself.
I would say hire a pro if you’re overwhelmed and can’t even get started or WON’T do it without an accountability buddy.
Really interesting questions and answers! Thanks for sharing, Kay!

You are an awesome person. I love your channel and your honesty. Thanks for making me smile and organised.

If you are an oddball, then I am also 😊 I do the same.
That's where my in-laws keep it.
You are just so adorable! I wish we were friends in real life! We could be a dynamic organizing duo! I feel like it’s so hard sometimes on my own.

I have so many questions about the marital aid organization. I kind of want you to do a video on proper care/storage/organization.
Bedside drawer? Wash w soap and water?
@@christineg6123 actually, non-soap cleanser is better for silicone, I believe.

Thank you for sharing. When you got push back did you have to send them a refund, bc they weren't ready? Thanks
I just ordered one of those roller stamps that obscures personal info on documents because my shredder is the DEVIL!
When the shredder starts getting hot and stops does that not MAKE YOU SO MAD???! LOL

It yeeted itself out 🤣🤣🤣 video liked!!
I keep medication in the kitchen cabinet. Love the convenience since my water is stored there.
Interesting: marital aid, more than one, not in a bedside drawer, I can’t imagine.
Great questionscand answers ii like the no judgment :) thank you for the videos and Clover
8.40 Clovverr! So sweet!!!
My house would be so organized if I could afford Alfa’s for every closet! My issue is always affordability!
I think people do sell Elfa stuff on marketplace sometimes.
I once drove 30 minutes to pick up a set of three Elfa shelves that someone was selling online for $5. No regrets!

@@TheOrganizedSoprano we are in a good place now. The encouragement she and others gave me was a true blessing.

Unless I have a first aid ⛑️ kit in the bathroom, I prefer to put medicine in the kitchen.
What a great video! May Jesus continue to bless you and your family
My linen closet is in my bathroom. Hmmm not sure where to store my meds
Mine is outside the bathroom door!
Same thing for me.
Something to suggest for medicine cabinets. Dessicant packages from shows. I throw those in my medicine cabinet all the time.
A biggie for me - leaving mail unattended - trying to heed this advice so it becomes a habit!
Funny you mention paper it's the only thing I haven't decluttered might sort it and burn it at a friends place who has a fire place haba
"little creatures" sounds so much better than spiders, rodents, cockroaches! 💚
I really like your autumn opening shot, beautiful.
Thanks for answering my questions! You are fabulous!
I would love it if you would post pictures on the wig collection you did!
This was informative and entertaining! TFS Now we need a Q&A about the wife, doggy mom, artist, and daughter....Kay! 🤗

You can tape to the back of the container or cut it off the box and drop that into the container.
I hate papers to
MTT!
