I can understand that they are pricey but in fairness they are miles ahead of the XL ST Ships. Maybe keep an eye on the Eaglemoss website and wait for a sale
Great video, awesome ship. I hope Eaglemoss does ALL Battlestar Galactica ships, not just from the show but also from the games. My favorite BSG ship would be The Manticore class.
I was lucky enough to get one of the Husker models, #171 of 250. I didn't know they were doing variants so it was an incredible surprise to open the box and see a COA sitting there. The model is beautiful, with amazing detail, much better than the Art Asylum collectible Viper in my estimation. Great review mate.
I’ve been a sci-fi fan my entire life, a *huge* fan of the Battlestar Galactica reboot since it premiered in 2003, and just recently made the purchase of the Eaglemoss models. I managed to get fantastic deals on the Vipers Mk II & VII, Cylon Raider, and the reboot Galactica (the latter a _crazy_ steal for NIB), and am hoping for releases of the Raptor, Blackbird, Pegasus, Valkyrie, and Baseship/star in the near future. The size and detailing are very good for the pricepoints and pre-made status (I’m not a modeler, so I’m locked into prebuilt items) and will serve as the basis of a small display of my favorite sci-fi designs: the reboot Battlestar Galactica ships, ST:TMP-era Refit Enterprise, Reliant, Defiant & 1701-E, Snowspeeder, Falcon, T-65 & T-70 X-Wings, TARDIS and some random others... I’m by no means a “collector”, or at least a completist, so it’s “quality vs quantity” in my book!
This Collection really has been a joy, every model seems to get better. I have always loved the viper from an early age. Eaglemoss have done a brilliant job in these, perfect size with amazing detail. Thanks for watching the review

You should really give it a go, I was like What Starbuck is female but Katee Sackhoff did an amazing job playing Starbuck. Don't forget Boomer also changed from male to female and I think they did the right call doing this instead of just adding new female characters
@ The Russian Nightmare , cool name by the way. I agree with you on when they made Starbuck a female, you could not bring yourself to watch it. Me too. I have that one too, and I made a video of it on my channel. I am more of a classic Battlestar Galactica fan, then the remade one.
Subscribed to Eaglemoss for the wonderful introductory price of $19.95 USD (an unbelievable value) for the Viper Mk II (got Starbuck's, oh well). Received the Cylon Raider and was equally amazed.
Meh, it's got poor assembly, beginner level weathering and a poor paint job. Look at the cockpit gap, the missing paint on the side detail that was not painted. Yeah it good, but on a scale of one to ten, this is a 5.

These look fantastic, and I'm a big BSG fan, but I can't justify the cost for these. I didn't get the ST XL ships either. 😔

That IS the Eaglemoss Viper MkII, Hero Collector must be a US division. If you check the Eaglemoss US web site, it's the exact same model.

You think they make these in a different factory than their Trek XL? Because the trek are consistently misaligned and these seem a higher calibre.
