I live near Shawn and when I was out rat hunting the other day I ran across a guy from the DNR. He told me as long as Shawn lives around here, I would have better luck hunting Carrier Pigeons.

Me thinks the trap worked a lot better when built. The wood has dried and expanded and contracted many, many times over the years and really needs some TLC.
I wonder if a bucket with bait around the wall and half filled with water and those orbeez things would do anything. Could sprinkle seeds on top too. The orbeez would keep the seeds from falling in and would trick the mice/rats into thinking the bucket was full with pebbles.
Where did you find Ron's trap? Garage sale?
Your Oregon coyotes look very healthy with beautiful coats. Here in SoCal ours are mangy with mottled coats, I’m guessing due to poor nutrition.

Curiously, with kill-traps. Could you still tell us what kind of mouse they were. Native or invasive.
I mean you have to empty the trap at some point, you’ll see them so you could identify them. And killing a native animal in OR is a crime so I doubt he would admit it lol

In all of his live trap videos he tells us if they are native or invasive. Most by far are invasive. And he does not relocate them.
