Thank you for making this video to answer questions for the PHEV/HEV owners. Regarding Rolling Resistance, I found it's not as simple as a number by even tire reviews. On my HEV the original tire is Michelin Energy Saver A/S 3-Season tires and on perfect warm & dry days it rolls like it's don't know what STOP means; however, in rainy/slushy days it rolls like it's going backwards. On the other hand, the Michelin CrossClimate2 All-Weather (snow rated) tires though well rated for rolling resistance in it's class it does not roll close to the Energy Saver A/S in warm & dry days; however, it rolls through rain and slush like it's on a warm dry day. After over 93,000KM, the CrossClimate2 is achieving the same average MPG as the 3-Season Energy Saver A/S that is currently equipped on most of the HEV & PHEV on the road; however, it is rated with 3PMSF snow tire rating with a lot more tracking, stopping distance, stability and comfort rid without the need of purchasing/storing/swapping out with another set of tires twice a year .
Thanks for making this vid and for your opinions. I disagree that PHEV's don't the weight component of an EV tyre. I have a PHEV that weighs 2.2 tonnes. The weight factor and reduced rolling resistance would be the main reasons I would consider an Ev tyre for my car.

But if load of PHEV is more than 2t kg should it benefit?
I use Ev tires used on my iCe car, my fuel improves and handle, quiter ride, just the futures of tires.
