I have a 2019 sport. Did not regret my purchases at all. For me, long drives are so much easier on my back and hips. Love the pick up. Love the fact I can do so much on hauling and I gotta say. Used it 3x for my daughter and her fiance moving. Love mine. Would do it again.
one of the forester main feature is the ground clearance 8.7" and 9.2" for the wilderness both above anything else in their categories, don't think there are any good other options in that segment if that's something you care about, to have more you need to buy much larger or rugged utility vehicles and the forester has interior space while not being overly long and quality of life while still being able to go on dirt gravel roads if needed, it's competitors often favor asphalt, the honda pilot mentioned in comments is way longer, wider and has lower ground clearance which as someone who had his undertray ripped by rockfall I care more than most
So, we farewell Wilderness of this design without a heated steering wheel and outdated infotainment screen. Good job Subaru.
Nice video, good explanations. But it is so ugly for me. And, as I remember from other videos, new Pilot has better off-roading than Forester.
I highly recommend for those using in high snow likelihood. Thats me.

The ride for long drives….i test drove the pilot in 2019 car shopping. I didn’t like the hip and lower back placement.
the subaru forester is perfect for it's intended use..as the name suggest it's made for lumberjacks foresters hunters and I can testify Subaru awd is imperial in snow I drove at 4am on an unplowed snowy highway at 74mph (legal speed limit here) with my wrx sti the car didn't shake didn't try to spin it was incredibly stable, I don't think they were ever intended to do crazy offroading like americans do "hey a dried river bed let's drive in it" lol I need one because I mountain hike and my current car is too low forcing me to park far from the nice trails

Cvt trashmission and infotainment system ruins all Subarus. This is from an owner declining to bye another one after 18 year owner.
