It’s amazing how much history there is! Really cool how you can hire a tuk tuk for the day. Kendra, have to say, your pronunciation of the places names is amazing...your Thai lessons definitely paid off 💯
The tuk tuk 🛺 with a roof over a motor bike in the heat is such a great tip and I love that he brought you to a cool lunch spot! It looked absolutely delicious 😋
That temple has wowed me too, would love to see it! Watching this video just makes me so excited and sad at the same time, Thailand is so beautiful. Wat chai is looking amazing, I would love to wear the traditional costume there. 🙏
Ayutthaya looks incredible! Really enjoyed hearing some of the historic facts you shared. Also, very smart to hire a tuk tuk for the day. Thanks for sharing! Felt like we were there with you :)
What a beautiful day trip. It definitely seemed like a great idea to hire a driver. You must have visited on a really hot day, my husband would have been burned to a crisp. Beautiful ruins and history, thanks for sharing!
There is something so mystical about this gorgeous place. The temples, architecture, views. I can almost feel the air, the warmth and mystical history. I'll never get there but enjoy seeing it through your eyes. 🙏 🌷 🙋♀️
@@LucasWorldTravel my main destination ( which uses up largest part of my holiday budget) is going to New Zealand and Australia where my children and grandchildren live. The rest of the holiday destinations are closer to home: Europe.
I loved the giant reclining Buddha at Wat Lokaya Sutha. Even though this area wasn't as well maintained as some of the others, it was still quite marvelous. The Tuk Tuk for the whole day seemed like great deal and a very smart decision!
Yes, it was an easy and inexpensive journey. Easy minus the sun! The sun was a killer. I think Ayutthaya might seriously be the hottest place in Thailand.
Hello, long time we don't watch your videos 😅 Very nice vlog in Ayutthaya. You guys still manage to travel in Thailand with all the new restrictions ? Our favorite part is the Wat Phra Mahathat :) Love this one !
Welcome back! This was shot in November so it was a few weeks before the outbreak. We feel lucky to live in Krabi though. It’s not a red zone so we can still move around freely to non-red zone provinces.
What an incredible area! I absolutely love exploring ancient temples! Great tips on visiting the area and getting around. Thanks for including the costs as well! It makes planning so much easier!
Ayutthaya is a great place to checkout and so so close to Bkk. Great information and history shared here. Have you been to Sukothai yet? That was the capital before Ayutthaya I believe. 800 baht for the day is a good price, did you need to negotiate the price? The tree with the face inside is such an icon. Great video.
Thanks Will! Yes, we went to Sukothai 2019. Also very beautiful ruins. And I did negotiate the price down from 1000 to 800 Baht. It's definitely worth it at both prices though.
I had no idea that Ayutthaya used to be the capital! The temples have such interesting histories. I love the one with growing tree roots and I can't believe it was once covered with white plaster. The tuk tuk ride looked fun! I do remember Thailand being extremely hot and humid, so it's nice to be able to have some shade from the sun.
Guys, this looked like such an awesome day out especially since you dont really have to plan, the tuk tuk just takes you to those cool places. Wow all these temple's are so absolutely beautiful 😍 Kendra, your pronunciation of all these places is excellent 😀 Your day trip looked so awesome and jam packed and hot 😅 Ah that's so nice of your driver to take you to a nice lunch spot especially that view.
Thanks guys! I tried to plan this one, but with so many temples it was too difficult. Sometimes it best to leave some things to the professionals. Thanks for the encouragement on my pronunciation. I'm trying, but I'm sure it still need some work.
You done Bangkok and Ayutthaya now you must do Sukhothai Historical Park, Sukhothai is the first Cap., of Thailand .Less to see. I stayed at the Legendha Sukhothai Historical Park Resort there is a nice Thai Restaurant across the street and to your right. Just outside of Chiang Mai there is Wiang Kam Kum Use a Red truck to get there . TB 600 then a horse and cart ride was TB 400 . To the east of Bangkok there is Phanom Rung Historical Park . I stayed at the Phanomrungpuri Boutique Hotel, To of BKK there is Ancient City a big must see.

That temple has wowed me too, would love to see it! Watching this video just makes me so excited and sad at the same time, Thailand is so beautiful. Wat chai is looking amazing, I would love to wear the traditional costume there. 🙏
I would have loved to rent traditional dress too, but I was just too hot. That's one activity I feel like you need to come fresh from the hotel to do.

I think this particular region is just really hot. It rarely gets that hot in Krabi where we live.
I miss traveling around Thailand! I need to visit this place the next time I go
Ayutthaya is beautiful! You will really enjoy seeing it for yourself!
Nice video! I can't wait to visit Aytthaya this summer.

The city you have to visit!
Wow the train price for that journey is so good! Your tuk tuk ride looked great with a bit of sun shade. The temples look so cool to explore!

Ayutthaya has to be the hottest place I've experienced in Thailand. I remember being there last year as well and somehow it's always the hottest!
Beautiful!!
