I would love to hear a review of the C7. I started playing classical about 3 years ago on a Cordoba Protege C1 and just bought a C7 as I am beginning to progress a little and wanted a nicer instrument. The C7 in my opinion is a beautiful guitar, but I would be interested to hear what your impressions are
Ya, I have a few students with the C7 and it's great for the price. Maybe better value than the C10! I don't think the laminate back and sides affect the sound...still a solid top.
Hello! I'm in the market for a classical guitar for around £1000. Can you recommend some similar guitars to this for me to compare? How highly would you recommend this guitar? Hope you're well, Luke.
Thanks for the review! In your opinion, how does the C10 compare to the C12? There's not a lot of price difference between the C9 and C10, but there is a huge difference between the C10 and C12 (about a $600US difference). I have a C12, and often wonder if the extra features are really worth the extra money that I paid. You've played both, so your opinion will be noted.
The C12 is a bigger sound and keeps up in larger rooms. The tone is also a bit better, more woody rather than the plasticy sound. Raised fingerboards are also hugely beneficial. I think it is worth the extra money.
I wanna buy a better guitar and I'm stuck between Martinez 88c or s Cordoba series... and I'll probably buy online because local stores here don't have that much of good known brands
I have a Cordoba C5 and it is a nice entry to intermediate level. One of the things I notice is the high action. I am not sure how to deal with that other than the truss rod. Is there a Cordoba classical that is a low action closer to that of a steel string acoustic? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Actually, compared to high level classical guitars I think the Cordoba action is nice and low. That said, not sure about your specifically. Depends on how much you dig in with the right hand which will create buzz if the action is too low.

I have some experience with playing electric guitar and my experience playing with classical were not that good because the instrument felt like a "toy" (a very cheap classical guitar). does it feel like a toy or like an actual classical guitar? This is a great guitar for a beginner or intermediate. In fact, I don't mind practicing on it at all. On the stage I certainly want my professional instrument but I like the C10.
Hi Sir Werner, I want to know if the loudness of your c10 changed after several months when you purchased it? Did you try it on a concert hall like you said? Hoping for your response soon!
Yes, it has gotten a bit better over the last few months for sure. I've been using it for teaching and quite like it for the price. I tried it in the hall next to $6000-$8000 guitars and it did not keep up. However, in smaller rooms it sounds good and I've rehearsed with it. For the price it's great, if you want something that will keep up in the hall but is under $2500 I would upgrade to the Cordoba C12 which has more projection and body overall.

Unfortunately Cordoba don't do C12 in left-handed version so a C10 is the best I can get from them. I love your channel and especially your reviews. Keep up the good work.

I’m considering upgrading from my Cedar top C5 soon. Is it possible to get a luthier-made guitar for under $1500, or are factory brands like Cordoba just as viable a choice?
Luthier made guitars tend to range from $4000 and way up. Cordobas are pretty good but there are lots of options these days. The Cordoba C12 is a real good buy though.
Considering grabbing a Cordoba C10 for myself - do you think Cedar or Spruce is the better option? I realize that is a subjective choice, but I'm wondering if there's a more clear better decision when discussing factory made more budget-friendly classicals like the C10. If nothing else, what is your preference? Thanks for the videos!
In my experience the Cedars are just better for the average student, they tend to be louder, more responsive, and fuller. These factory guitars a bit over-built and have a heavy finish so the lighter cedar tends to respond better. I always recommend the cedars for my students. For more advanced players it's really your choice and I do like the sound of the spruce.

@ Alhambra 7c is the exact same price here in New Zealand, and it’s hand made from Spain, I will choose that over C10 at the same price bracket. However, my favorite will still be Jose Ramirez when I got the money :)
Cordoba is made for American market. You seldom see it in other countries. It's not like Yamaha. It is everywhere. Yamaha is cheap and good. Cordoba is not that cheap and have action problem. Most people have to spend more money to get the action adjusted. It is a nuisance if you live in a place with no facility to get that done. The guitar can be totally messed up if it is not done by an expert.
Why? China makes lots of great products, it all comes down the the specific company and their quality control guidelines. I've found Cordoba's quality control to be excellent. Usually the culprit is dry and cold warehouses of amazon or other large sellers.
I have a C10. Tuners broke soon after purchase. Two quick repairs followed (also failed) Now trying to get different tuners but proving difficult here in Thailand. Tuners are rubbish. Guitar cannot be tuned so cannot be played. Don't buy one .cordoba C10 is s**t.
I think Jose Gonzalez plays one of these. His tone is incredible. I saw him live a little while ago and he blew my mind.

Plenty of great guitars all over the world, you'll find one!
Tried this guitar myself, not a fan, for the same price, you can definitely get something better. Especially here in New Zealand, so overpriced
What would be your recommended guitar around the same price?
👌👌👌
Thank you for great videos. You should review Cordoba Torres :)
Yes, I would like to but it's difficult to get my hands on these. Maybe in the future.
It sounds plasticky probably because of the spruce top.
I think the spruce improves the sound but the polish on these is so thick that I think that would be the culprit.
For 1,100 it should not sound platicy at all.
Well, only compared to an $8000 guitar. For it's price I think the sound is pretty great.
I wish it was made anywhere but China...
Why? China makes lots of great products, it all comes down the the specific company and their quality control guidelines. I've found Cordoba's quality control to be excellent. Usually the culprit is dry and cold warehouses of amazon or other large sellers.
$7,000 dollar guitar.....I would love one, but my wife would kill me lol
This one is not $7000 (maybe you were watching my other video of the Dominelli). This one is around $1000
I know I was talking about your other guitar. This C10 looks nice and sounds well.
It's pronounced COR-doba...Córdoba...emphasis on the first vowel!
Noted. Thanks.
Sorry to hear that. I've owned mine for 6 years and have never had a problem.
he never played the guitar...
Did you watch the whole video? I play a bunch of stuff near the middle.
