P38 Range Rover Oil leak temp sensor

I fixed a leaking oil temp sensor. For some reason I had suddenly started seeing oil on my filter. The last time I changed oil I noticed this. I assumed I had wrongly overtightened the filter, but I checked closer to see Oil was coming form above the filter?!
This sensor thread needed a coating of loctite black silicone hi temp. This was enough to fix the issue. No temp sensor issues and no oil leak = problem solved. 2000km later and not a drop from the sensor and still correctly working. Sometimes silicone is a friend.
