I was talking to someone about this 70/30 thing recently... and mentioned how some radios used to have a PHYSICAL 70/30, where the trigger actually moved and changed to where it had more throw in its travel on throtle than on brakes... How would you compare having it just be digital increments and resolution, while still having the same 50/50 travel in the trigger mechanism, vs having a physical 70/30 trigger movement ?
i bet that, this is throwing everyone off, since im sure everybody who buys this radio reads the 2-300 page booklet that it comes with lol. I am interested in this radio, so you are saying that the factory set up is 50/50, but perhaps when you bind this to cars the controller the issue begins, since the prior set up on the other 7PX or 4PX is set to 70/30?
have you noticed any issues with your receiver overheating? My r404sbs is really hot to the touch after a couple of heats and sometimes loses connectivity with the transmitter

Do you change throttle or steering speed as well or just the trigger mode?

Is there any way to use the three position SSW1 switch to select between the three "Throttle Speed" Modes?

Do you have the R4040SBS or -E version? Are you still having issues?
