What if I just set up my new HS2016 and only TLM Monitor was disabled so far and I have 6 motion detection devices. The keypad is showing open circuits to all 6 zones but I measured 5,52k-5,57k resistant on all of it. Yet, when I put a resistor direct between the Z*/COM connectors on the board, the warning disappear for that Z* zone. What could be the problem?
I don't know what TPM monitoring is. It's not very helpful, but it's gotta be a wiring issue. That is really too varied to troubleshoot in a youtube comment.
@@andybowman9697 Sorry, TLM, not TPM. I just typo'd it. But the funny thing is, if the wiring is faulty, I shouldn't be able to measure those ohms, right? Anyway, was hoping someone has a quick idea or has encountered a similar problem before.
Example,if I have three rooms with three keypads and sensors in each rooms, and each person wants a code to arm and disarm separately on the same panel, what is the procedure in doing it please
The programming is no different at all, you just pretty much do it blindly. That is why we never recommend programming from a LED or non prog LCD. Too easy to get lost.
It has taken a backseat to some of our more pressing releases, like communicators for the LTE upgrades, but I will back to the NEO series, as well as partitioning it as soon as I am able.
Can you make a video explaining resistors and applications for using them vs. not using them
We already do have such a video on our channel. Let me locate it..

Have watched all the tutorials but am not seeing a video on how to do partitions on each sensor with a multiple keypads please

Great video very helpful. Can you make a video on programming the Dsc neo with the LED keypad.

@@AlarmSystemStore okay👍
Lol
How about a video for wiring programming other types of sensors ie flood or temperature sensors
9:45 is this video you are referring going to be released soon?
