- Krypto is an iconic dog from the DC Universe, and McFarlane finally came up with a pair of Superman and his loyal dog! But why did McFarlane do it this way?

Hi Mon. Glad you have these figures. Actually Krypto has a head articulation. Superman also had a waist articulation, you just have to turn it harder and it will move. 😅. Hope these help. McFarlane Toys is not know for doing a real comic accurate figures which upset a lot of collectors. He almost always McFarnalized his creations😂. Doesn’t affect me as much as I’m not a comic reader.
Thanks, I tried to twist it, and it did not budge. Didn't want to force it, as I don't want to break it. I still feel McFarlane lost on what could have been a great collectible. Felt like they found a toy dog in Dollarama strapped a red cloth and an S on it. The main Superman figure itself was a letdown as well as it would stand even when it's on a peg. Sorry for the rant. I'm just disappointed as I really wanted a good Supes and Krypto combo. 🙂
@@dadstoysnthings Totally agree...he could've given us a fully articulated Krypto. Regarding Krypto's articulation-maybe a haidryer or a warm bath for the head? Remninder on the ugly ball joint of the feet- I find that at times I have to somehow rotate the ball joint to line it up better so that it can stand on its own.
@UpClosewithLawrence Thanks again, I found another stand which works better. On another note, ever see a Doomsday that closely resemble the Doomsday series? The ones I see are movie based which I don't really like. Would love to have one!
@@dadstoysnthings Re Doomsday, I'm not familira with any comic related stuff. McFarlane released a double pack Supes + Doomsday. There is a recoloured version of Doomsday coming soon. I am not sure how comic accurate he is.
@UpClosewithLawrence Saw that, nowhere near the comic look of Doomsday, I'll be on the lookout for the recolor. The closest I found is the 2014 SDCC release, but it's 10" tall. I may get that if nothing else shows up.
