    So after you posted this video, I've done several cups this way. Not only is it easier, but it's almost mistake proof!! This is the only way I will ever glitter another cup period!! Have I ever told you that you're the best of the best?! I'm sure I have but I'm saying it again, you're the best, hands down!!

I have some of the Recollections Glitz which is their chunky mix. I used it once and it was a hot mess. Also can you show in detail how you add the sticker to the vinyl? LittleLee and Rose - I have watched several videos on the hang method and I was ready to give it a try! This morning I epoxy glittered a white tumbler with white glitter and I loved how well it covered. I did mix up 2.5ml (A&B total) and I have some left over I was shocked how easy it was and how well it covered. NEVER doing spray adhesive again! but....I'm needing to do a ombre with this tumbler I have some VERY chunky colorful glitter for the bottom. Do I let the white sit for 24hrs, seal with clear spray paint, then do the hang method again to add my chunky ombre on the bottom? im trying to avoid making my cup so thick and heavy. I'm redoing this cup because the 1st time the chunky glitter on the bottom looked like a mess!

    That's really beautiful. I'm fascinated by these projects but I haven't attempted to do anything with epoxy yet. I'm curious about something. When you're mixing A and B, you said you put 7.5 mls in one cup and of course the same amount in the other and then you mix them together. If you're squeezing out the amount could you fill the cup with 7.5 mls of one bottle and then take the other bottle and fill that same cup till you get 15 mls? Or do you do it separately to make sure that you get the exact same amount and don't accidentally over squeeze?

I can literally take a blunt object to the top of my cup after a week of letting it sit and my entire project usually glitter peels of in chucks. Although it does take a lot of scraping and such to get all the glitter off, I don't think my seal would last long at all before all my hard work just peels right off. I'm very careful with measuring, but have never tried the hanging method. Could it be I'm using too much epoxy? Any suggestions on creating a long lasting waterproof seal? Especially for those that want the entire cup done without the space in between the lid and cup? help please!!!

    Sooo I’m a newbie. I tried doing this and I thought all was good but now it’s got ripples. You said it’s because I used too much. Will the ripples go away if I add a few more coats of epoxy? Thank you

    The vinyl you put on CUT only and the sticker paper was print and cut. My question is how did you line such a detail edging image up so perfectly over each other??? Is there a trick.

    Curious why ypu use epoxy under the glitter? I watched a few other makers and they use mogpog. Is it better to use epoxy?

    • @kaitlynogden3908

      Using epoxy instead of mod podge is amazing especially with a single color! You will get amazing coverage with just a small amount of glitter as long as you paint your base coat a similar color 😊 It only takes a tiny tiny bit of epoxy to do it that way though

    Oh my gosh. What! Not only did you use such a tone bit of epoxy. Which i dont think i can do. I have trouble with 20 ml as it is lol. But no thats not all you did it on a white fur rug lol are you nuts?🤣😂🤣the first second of doing a craft on that rug for me would of been a total mess. I have never done the hang method. Do you ever use a turner and what kind of epoxy do you use?

    • @LittleLeeandRose
      @LittleLeeandRose  5 років тому +2

      Sherry Ebersole I do use a turner! But it is often full and I have to keep moving some cups forward in production so I do hang method. I also apply ALL my glitter with the hangmethod

    • @LittleLeeandRose
      @LittleLeeandRose  5 років тому +2

      And I have to wash the fur after almost every tutorial because it’s full of glitter LOL

    Did you realize that the resin/epoxy you use is non-toxic & has no fumes? That is what is stated on the Amazon site.

    • @LittleLeeandRose
      @LittleLeeandRose  5 років тому +5

      Brenda D Powell Yup! That’s why I use it BUT you should still wear a mask because you can end up with an allergy to it if you don’t. I also wear a mask to make sure everyone does (because many don’t use this epoxy and need to wear it ) . I also use 2 other brands that do have Chemical vapors. (I have a LOT of epoxy lol)

      did you listen to what she was saying at the beginning? She applies thin coats to stop it rippling as it will all want to slide down the cup. Why waste ?
