This is a one chunk Minecraft world... and like LukeTheNotable, acookiegod, and ForgeLabs, we need to survive 100 days in it. This isn't 100 days in Hardcore Minecraft or 100 days in one block Minecraft, or 100 days in a zombie apocalypse... This is 100 days in one Minecraft chunk.
100 days in Hardcore Minecraft was made by LukeTheNotable, so this is a little spin on it. Basically it's Minecraft, but the world is one chunk in a 16 by 16 Minecraft World, almost like a 100 by 100 world by YeahJaron. ParrotX2 for more.

Minecraft can be an adventurous game with almost limitless boundaries. However, the video shows a 100-day journey in one Minecraft chunk, a very confined space. In this experiment, a player and his friend survive by mining, crafting, fighting, building, and trading, turning an initially empty chunk into a thriving mini-world. They built essentials like a crafting table, a farm, a mob grinder, and later a gold farm in the Nether. Despite the challenge of surviving in such a small space, they managed to make their chunk aesthetically pleasing and resourceful, making for an interesting and unique Minecraft play-through.

god there’s something so endearingly human about this. being proud of simple platforms with log supports and a broken mob grinder. making a wheat farm and not harvesting it half the time. jumping around while fishing in a little box. using large walls of brick blocks to make things look nice. explaining common strategies like strip mining and how hunger works. getting excited about the rain. it’s so nice. so simple and refreshing.
I've done this challenge on my channel, and trust me it gets veryyyyy boring after a few days

I think the reason why the mob grinder isnt working, u didnt have trap doors, mobs are surprisingly smart enough to not drop down a block unless they sense a player, but they think a trapdoor is an actual block and if its opend, they will fall in the water
And mobs could spawn outside of the border in caves which would also decrease the spawn rate of the mobs.

Tip: You could have built the mob grinder underground, at y=0. This increases spawns. The reason most tutorials tell you to build the grinder in the sky to make sure no spawns on the ground. However, your world is so small, you can just light everything and enjoy the rain lol.

Just a tip, when the fishing pond water was dripping into your house, you can turn off the individual effect in the effects area in the optifine video settings area.

Tip: When you eat a rotten flesh, dont move, if you dont move your hunger would still be the same.
It'll go down by about 2 and a half food bars, but it won't set you back to your hunger before eating, so it will still work.
if u stand still with the hunger effect itll still go down just a bit slower
This is the first time I’ve ever seen a Minecraft player excited about rain, outside of the use of a riptide trident.

Maybe, you forgot to add trapdoors on top of the water that pushes mobs down. Because, mobs think that trapdoors are full blocks, thats what I did to mob grinders and hidden hot floor as defence to my base.

Aside from the smelt wood to make charcoal for a fuel source advice, an good investment of what iron you find would be a couple of hoppers, could use it to kind automate your smelting, whether it’s to make a lot of your fuel, or your bricks.
Of course, the advice is kind of a moot point unless you intend to try something like this again. Otherwise, good video! Didn’t know about using bottles to make a second water source, or that you could get honey from beehives!

2 reasons to why the mob farm wasnt working. First, mobs can only spawn if they are more than 32 blocks away from a player and 2nd you need trap doors for them to actually fall down. And they will despawn when they are more than 128 blocks away.

many reasons why the mob grinder didnt work are 1: wasnt on the right high meaning that mobs can spawn outside the border 2: needs trap doors so the mobs think its a block when they try and walk on it falls into the water 3:the spawning platform should be 2 blocks high so the mobs cant jump back on the platform

You should uses slabs for the roof so you don't need torches on top of the mob grinder. Less resource intensive
If you ever do a part 2, you should add a sky out of wool or other blocks on the bottom of the mob grinder?

there's some glitch in terms of servers that for some reason disables mob spawning in certain places
anyways, if the mob farm doesn't work, try towering up like 80 blocks above the farm, both people must stay there tho
if mobs don't spawn at all, then it's a bug
I think this server is of sternos and a software is installed

@@chapitojp once i made a skyblock server, kinda like all those public servers with economy, but this one was private and well... i built a mob farm about 40 blocks from the area where i usually do stuff and there was no mobs, no matter what i did: changing mob caps, daytime, difficulty, game rules, server config... however those were spawning around my spawn area, just not in the mob farm

10:20 i do this except 1 block apart and 3 different ones going three blocks up on the bridge in hypicel to stack up quickly and create an obstacle for the opponent
spawn rates are higher in the lower layers you could have built the trap next to bedrock, with minimum height to kill the mobs with fall damage. No one mobtraps low because there are caves, in your game mode it would be perfect
Tip: diamonds seem to spawn close to dirt on y12 and y11.
There isn't any correlation between diamond and dirt generation, but there is with lapis and clay
Also, it wouldn't have mattered cos he only got one vein, maybe two in his chunk
