Great looking product. But how do you go from an apparently unfamiliar learning position “with what appears to be four engines”, to doing a full mix without even scribble strips?

Board tape is absolutely still necessary. If you're messing with one channel and need to quickly jump to another, how do you know which channel to select? By guessing?
Everything in this video could have used an explanation version. It is really what everyone wants to know about this board and the video is produced like everyone should know intuitively how to assign the fx returns to a layer and route the sends, or even interrogate the dsp. Trust me, he did not walk up to this board and just start using it. LMAO. Otherwise nice board, I have one at work. Somethings were not setup correctly out of box so I had frustrations to do the simplest of things. I guess that is how to learn the hard way, manual was no help when stuff is not functioning the way it is supposed to.

I have a little question for soundcraft! is it possible in an update, (although you haven't released an update for 4 years) close again would be cool if you could also set the panning on the individual channel for the fx send to fades? 🙏🙏🙏🙏 as with the buses, aux, send to fades you can adjust the panning!😉 and an app where you could also edit the fx effect!
Recently I got a Soundcraft impact mixer, and I’m able to multitrack record, and record my audio through a auxiliar output. But i’d like to know if there’s a way to record my L&R output, because I work with live videos and all times I have to mix in mi aux all the channels. It would be much easier to me if there is a way to get the audio of all channels together (L&R master) to my pc mic input, the way I used to do with my old 01v mixer from yamaha, that is much simpler and don’t have so many resources. probably still quicker that way too instead of selecting and typing on a tiny touchscreen. has a spot for a lamp, so light won't be an issue for writing. if you have to change a patch, it's still much quicker to relabel using tape. but hey, who am i, yeah? :) great board for the money.

Soundcraft is and will ever be the no1 Analog mixer for me! But Digital is just not yours... for a litte more money you can get a A&H SQ5 wich is leagues over this one... and even a Beringer x32 Compact is half your price... Analog i will always use your products but this is insane in my eyes :) Just my Opinion so no hate at all !
Wow. This is exciting. I am ecstatic beyond belief. I am besides myself with glee. Soundcraft, you really are eager to make and sell your boards as awkward, backwards, and uninspiring, aren't you? I've had to use the Ex2 for several years now due to the genius choice of whoever purchased it back then and I've come to hate it so much ... everything about it screams, well, conveys the British attitude of "That'll do". No excellence, no joy, no cleverness. Instead of "Si" you should have used "Meh" as the prefix for this product range.
Why did you make this board with just low and high shelving filters?!!! Why couldn't you just add the variable Q on those bands. Very disappointing Soundcraft.

How did you get the inputs how did you do it playing the music with out bands
He used a prerecorded recording from a DAW.... The SI series can also be used as an audio interface.
