Have been playing the game for 20 years, didn't know almost any of these. Thanks for the tips
A lot of these are workaround against bugs or exploits like the hunting dogs one. Hopefully AOM Retold is going to fulfill all of our expectations so we don't have to worry about these anymore.
All it does is pre- queues the hunting dogs i wouldn’t consider it an exploit, the fact that you can go inside and customize hotkeys for example wall chips, or building only gates is an example of an exploit.
Just bought the game on steam, haven't played it in years.

Great vid. It's an old game, but I'm going through these tips for the game is about to get revamped - AOM retold. So stoked for the new game with new graphics (I think) and these tips will help me hit the ground running.

Hi sirr, do you know how to play this game on Windows 11?
I have tried all the compatibility modes, I installed every Visual C++ since 2005, bypassed the launcher, but the game only shows the small square with the logo for half of a second and then nothing ever happens
Extended edition should work fine. I’m currently troubleshooting why the titans version doesn’t work on my new pc!
