Here is a list of check points to guide you through the connecting a trailor process
How to hookup a trailer for beginners:
Step 1: Test the tow vehicle's wiring.
Step 2: Verify the trailer ball & hitch meet the min. gross vehicle weight rating.
Also check that the ball and hitch size match.
Step 3: Back up to trailer
Step 4: Lower the tongue jack, secure the tongue latch, and insert the safety keeper.
Step 5: Lift up on the trailer using the tongue jack to make sure there is a secure connection between the trailer and the hitch.
Step 6: Raise and secure the tongue jack for towing.
Step 7: Hook up safety chains making sure to cross them as you do
Step 8: Connect the lights. Run the light cord through the safety keeper.
Step 9: Step back and verify that the trailer is level or slightly up hill.
Step 10: Check all the running lights, left and right signal, and brake lights.

WoW! Thank you so much buddy for your kind words, I'm pleased you enjoy them and its great to have you with us. Your quite right, the video is 8 mins long but it took me 5 hours to complete, there a lot of fun to do, ive learned so much and still learning about videography, its all been fascinating to be honest, such as, where the sun is to get the light on the face, no more than 3 seconds on any one shot etc.. its been an amazing education and a lot of fun too, there are soo many awesome videos that until you start doing them, you then realise , wow.. that person has gone to so much trouble with just seconds of details but becomes a big part of the overall movie/video. so thank you very much once again for showing your appreciation..More videos on their way, regards Carl

Actually i think 2 chains is the right idea really, i know it may seem a lil over the top, but hey you just never know, esp if your towing a lot of weight behind you, you cant be too safe. @@boatingforbeginners7949 I plan on making a video soon. I'm sure the roads are are much rougher. Or as you chaps would say. Quite bumby ? Over here lots of potholes. Or maybe chuck holes ? Best be secure for the ride. I have made some progress replacing the floor. Have new seats on order . And thinking about a new engine $10.000 U S dollars. Ouch! Sorry so long winded.
