We shoved that thing in places that a side by side would go. Literally down atv trails that people were mind blown and taking video. You also have to remember bumpers were changed, 35” tires and 3” lift were added. Only part that sucks is the 70/30 4x4 and Mercedes transfer case is built for maybe a few pot holes. Our opinion if you want to do what we were doing or more buy a truck or have a complete custom driveline with Dana axels and lockers put in. Ps we did blow a $12k transfer case and we were on a loose gravel dry riverbed. All this is probably why they are not making 4x4 starting next year.
@@AdaptiveHumanity Thanks. Storyteller claims their Beast Mode model has a true low range. Do you think that's something they did since it (based on what you said) didn't come from Mercedes?
@@jkinney5 I think it’s a load of bs. Factory it has low range but there is no way they managed to get a 50/50 split with lockers. I think it’s a marketing gimmick. There was one company in the county that did solid axel swaps and transfer cases and they closed last year. Also just to get their kit was over 100k so the price point the beast is set at would also make me believe they are utilizing stock factory 4x4 and trying to make it something it is not.
Nice build. I have the same problem with Owl racks and boxes stressing the windows and blowing them out. Was the PC window install basically the same as an AMA or glass window? Did you paint the PC? Thanks.
The PC window was wrapped on the outside with 3m vehicle wrap. The window was set using adhesive but also screwed into place. Wrap covered the screw heads.
What's the next platform that y'all are going to building/purchasing? would you mind sharing the reason for going away from the van? I'm a truck camper owner, but am curious about your decision making process
We are actually building a m1083a1 for our personal rig. The switch is because no matter what you do to a van it will never be a truck. While the van could do a lot we mainly have issues with all the MB parts that we can’t change. Because of the the van is limited in capabilities. We actually build overland vehicles and specialize in lmtv vehicles so it’s a natural fit for us.
Excelent !... But there is nothing like here in Brazil. And If would, the price could be Impossible for the mortals. It's a a dream Impossible to be true here.
Our personal Rig is a 6X6 LMTV, So no van. To answer your question on a van more capable that would be an E series with 4X4 conversion, Dana axels, lockers and manual transferase. PS sprinter is ditching 4x4 this year. We also own Adaptive Overland Engineering that builds custom rigs so if interested shoot us an email.

Normally the interiors on these disappoint, butbthis is pretty sweet Not exactly what I would do, but still great, especially those custom seats.
Super Auto!
What a build!! Very impressed!
van build ?? you mean a modern battle tank home on wheels
🤣
I'll give ya fifty for it
Wow, 50 million is a little much!! How about we lower that to a more reasonable price of 199k. 🤣
We are building more and we can ship it!
I'm curious what van has a better chasis that DOES have 4x4 capabilities? What did they upgrade to? I wish ProMaster was 4x4 their mistake!
Now that is a Sprinter :)))) Good job on that Sprinter sir!!!👍 There are very few "Vans or Trucks" that can match the interior space of an Sprinter (You have 3 version in length to chose from)
Thanks!
This is an amazing build!!! Love the Nanoleaf lights!! Are you running the lights on DC or AC? If it’s DC, I didn’t see anything on their website for a DC power adapter.
They were ran on A/C even though they are a dc light. The voltage was different though it was like 52vdc or something stupid like that.
@@AdaptiveHumanity Thank you. Darn, I was trying to avoid using AC in our Sprinter.
@@marshal.van.mathers so there are Nono leafs that are 24v. I can give you the name tomorrow when I get to the shop. The 24v don’t have all the stuff the other ones have but are still cool.
@@AdaptiveHumanity sweet man!!! I just followed you on IG. I’ll send you a message
@@marshal.van.mathers email is adaptivehumanity@gmail.com
How much is the asking price?
Sold for $195k
How the hell does the fire suppression system go with an electrical system?
To stop any Electrical Fires 🔥
@@AdaptiveHumanity Yeh I figured but what grade fire extinguisher is it? Generally fire suppression and electrical fires don't go together very well. Electricity.
@@WanderingandWilderness the compound in the extinguisher is specifically for electrical. I don’t know it off the top of my head. It comes from the Marine Industry.
What does you van weigh fully loaded?
She was heavy, tipping out at around 10k loaded including all our personal stuff.
How can I inquire about purchasing this van?

This is the link to the site we have it listed on. You can find our email on there.
@@AdaptiveHumanity 🔥🔥🔥
Very impressive van! Well thought out. As this sits now I’m guessing it would take about $150,000 to duplicate this.
Having someone build it for you plus price of the van you would be sitting around 350k to start.
Vermont for Registration, best solution in cases like this...
Un saludo desde España buen vedios y esplixa muy bn
Now this would have met my beach requirements for a van 4x4. Congrats on the sale. I just happened upon your channel in March.
Thanks for watching! We build custom trucks so if you are in need feel free to reach out.
Merhaba 👋 güvenlik kameraları 24 saat kayıt alabiliyor mu?
evet, 24 saat ve 30 gün boyunca karıştırmak için yeterli hafıza.
