Superior Gear : If you're reading this I have a recommendation... Your website needs some organization improvements. I would recommend sorting things into groups like hammocks, quilts, tarps, suspension, accessories, bundles, etc. That would make it a lot easier for people who aren't familiar with your products to find what they're looking for.
Just some constructive criticism from a potential future customer who moves around a lot in his sleep and may benefit from an underquilt that is more likely to stay in place throughout the night.

@@shugemery I spent Halloween weekend at campsite #13 at a state park near me. It got colder than predicted...43 degrees. I currently have HG gear that is rated to 40 degrees. The first night I ended upsleeping in my car. The second night, I added a foam pad, but found myself chasing the pad all night to stay warm. There has to be a better way??? I have a WBXLC that I love and could have slept like a baby if I would have been warm. I live in Mississippi, so it is very humid here even in cold weather. Hey Shug. Congrats on your award!!!! I was wondering am I on wrong site? Your camping content is ok, I'm not into that though. I want to see control line flying and building shows. Please advise.

It is all on one channel. Not filmed much control line this Summer.

My channel has always been mainly hammock camping. Control line is a just a small part of it.

I know this is unrelated to the video, but you are the only one I could think of that could give a knowledgable response.
I don’t like coffee. It’s hot, bitter and the taste is just not my thing. I do like to try new things and in the supermarket there was a “country food type sale” and I saw a bag labelled Greek-coffee and I never tried it so I might as well do it. If I don’t like it, my wife will drink it as long as I add enough milk.
Anyway, I read about it, it sounded interesting and tried it. Although I don’t have a briki, or a Demi-tasse, or a gas stove (induction), I tried it with the smallest pan and cup I have. First try was way to sweet (glykos) although I understand why people would like it, it wasn’t my thing. Tried it again with less sugar (metrios) and actually liked the taste, but I read about kaïmaki/foam but there doesn’t seem to be forming any. Now could this be because one of the following:
1- my pan is to wide making the foam dissipate through evaporation or something
2- the coffee needs to take longer/shorter to heat (not boil) to actually form this foam.
3- something I can’t think of is amiss.
Could you help and give any advice or suggestions?

More than likely needs the proper pot. Also needs to be taken on and off the heat about 3 times. I have a video on it. ua-cam.com/video/F8Lb7Tu7_GY/v-deo.html

Hey, this is awesome. I really like the whole set up. I guess you might have mentioned how very careful one should be with that interior Cloud 71 fabric. Know a couple people who have ruined it by a stray item hooking it. I tested one with an UQ attached and really liked it. This one is awesome for all year use. :)

I trust the Cloud7 with a second layer of Argon under it. Have seen a couple of reports of rips in single Cloud 7 single layers. I'm treating it as any other fabric to see how it holds up. Did not mention as I do not have all the facts.

I was just thinking last night, "It's time for another Shug video". I just checked UA-cam, and there it is!
Maybe you've said it or done the video and I just don't recall - but if you could only have one hammock for all around general use, which one would it be?
For general use I always end up using my Warbonnet Traveler. Camping has only been in my Hennessy Expedition Zip (But I use a huge JRB tarp to give me a large covered area).
I'm leaning towards the big Blackbird.

Thanks for the new video…always great to see you and hope Meg is well. I know this isn’t on you but I ordered a Superior Hammock based on a previous video…ordered in May…still no hammock. You may want to comment on their production timelines in your videos. Stay Shugy!

I'd reach out to them for sure. They are a small company with the shop in the garage. I know. Danny has a real job as well as making SG hammocks.
I don't know anything about their production time but if I were you I'd for sure contact them. Mistakes happen!

Hi Mike. We got pretty backed up this Spring, and under estimated our ramp-up time. I do apologize for the long wait. But we are doing our absolute best to improve our speed and get more caught up. We are currently shipping out April orders and already making May orders. Thanks so much for your support and patience! best, -danny

@@dannywarnock8822 Thanks Danny and Shug. I’m sure I will love the hammock when I get it, just commenting about delays with an eye towards expectations management. To Danny’s credit he’s been very professional in his email responses and even provided a discount due to the delay. Don’t need it until the fall so all good on that front. Thanks again.
