The first lady bought earrings from KLCC (a major tourist spot in the capital city of Malaysia) compared it with Chiang Mai (a small city in Thailand). Then she complained it was more expensive 🤣
Ben! Kudos for the first street interview. Man! Wished I was there to help you hold the camera (pro bono of course) It would've been my way to help support your channel :)
I like your new street-interview style, Ben. Great job. I got a real kick out of the first lady ... She was quite the character and didn't hold back. 😄
THIRD! Lol. Omg, this was sooooooo cool to watch. First time seeing almost all of you on camera, Benjamin. Lol, I was starting to think you were just a torso and head sliding down the streets. 🤣 Great questions! Great interaction! Everyone seemed happy to share their lives with you. Thanks for trying this format. Let me know if you felt nervous...since you no longer were talking to the camera, but to a human. ~ Tazzz ~
hi Ben, just a suggestion.. maybe share something you know about Malaysia for those who just arrived e.g. food, good places to visit. Or end with "do you have any questions for me?" .. would make it interesting by giving your interviewees something back.
if you say everything is expensive, thats mean you are poor, so keep it it real and there are option to buy at Pasar Malam or Petaling Street and not at those high end Malls.
@@elbowstancenow1519 I noticed that you have commented on my previous statement about how to administer cleansing of dog's saliva. You didn't reply. I don't know where you're from or how many languages you speak. Why don't you pick on someone else and mind with my grammar.
@@WafeeTerengganu Haha don't worry mate, that guy goes around making some really awful comments, probably just trying to get some attention. If he pushes it too far I'll just block him.
Great start Ben, be awesome to interview some budget traveler's and get their take on prices in Kuala Lumpur. Be good comparison to more expensive options. I think you've got a winner with this style !
Good on you for taking this next step Ben. Your channel has given me inspiration of how (and more importantly why) to vlog when I begin my upcoming backpacking travels. Cheers brother, best of luck with the new series!
Was happy to see this upload because I remember you speaking about it. You got straight to it. Definitely will be a BIG lane for you .. I can tell and your personality really shines here. Keep it up! 🔥
Ben, great job! You have such a pleasant way to interview 🙂 maybe some a bit leading questions here and there, but who cares. (I would not be able to this myself, I am just awful as an interviewer, too self conscious... 😂)
BKK and KL pricing is more or less the same now, stayed and work in BKK since 2012. Its also depends on where you shop and dine in both cities. I find Jakarta pricing more expensive than kl and bkk if you shop and dine in more of less same mall, resto standards.
Bennie boy! Congrats to your first interview man! So far qua views this type of content looks like it could take off. Not bad! Ask Claude AI for some ideas in case you don't know what to do next. Stay strong! Greetz from Europe.
Well done Ben!!👍🏼 But to ask tourists if visiting Malaysia is expensive or not is subjective. Btw, there's an event going on at Central Market. You can check out if you like.
A totally different version of vlog..less walk but more talk & interaction now with the tourists of various nationality..how refreshing it's can be with new perspective of presentation..😁
Frankly speaking, I didnt think you will do too well in like an interview series type of blog cuz I assumed you were more introverted but I think as the first time doing it, you were remarkable. Just need to fine-tune the techniques. I think your modestly is a good match for these contents....just my thought :)
You will like Chiang Mai Ben, can’t believe you haven’t been there. It’s a foodie paradise, so many great restaurants, some are very affordable and the choices are amazing. Definitely visit Pai and Chaing Rai too. Beautiful countryside. Oh and checkout Jakarta and Bandung too!
Stuff in KL are good quality n imported that why people/tourist from either Thailand,Burma,Vietnam,Cambodia n Indonesia consider stuff/ things plus foods are more expensive their own countries...where they currencies lower the our Malaysian Currency. But for the Europeans,Americans,Canadians,Australians.,Japanese,Koreans,TAIWANESE N HONG KONGERS...KL IS absolutely cheaper tough..
As a Malaysian ofcourse im abit biased about my country, but honestly from my humble opinion, i feel like that Ms. from Myanmar is going to all the wrong places for eating n shopping, even most locals dont shop n eat at klcc.
It not correct, There is a lot of local eating in KLCC or othe foodcourt mall. But the person or their family does not eating everyday. I and family will have lunch every early month for pleasure
I’m from Western Europe and I found KL to be expensive for SEA standart! Damn you can easily spend 60$ a day include room. Condo aint cheap there. A dish in a foodcourt is now 16myr minimum. Prices are very high. Its getting like Singapore. Lady is right BKK is cheaper. I feel like KL is not SEA. It feels different. And definitely not a good value for money.

The 1st lady shopped and dine at expensive places in KL. Should explore more of the city before making judgment.
Fantastic.

Depends on where you are from. If you earn USD or GBP or Euro, then with the currency exchange, it is cheap of course
He should not ask that question.
